yeah get into 1:10.. theres rumors about the really sweet TA04 for sale around its been fully hopped up and its really cheap is going for about as much as the diffs in it cost
yeah i did work expereince up there with them.. them guys are the reason i wanna do eletrical enginering.. i spent a week soldering PCBs and watching them work on a UAV module using microcontrolers and the old temperature (space being cold ground being warm) trick of flying around. i got to tell them what they were doing wrong (to do with eletrical interference issues) hehehe the good’ ol RC knowlage its was so obvious they probly knew just didnt think of it
hey the guys at monah which monash.. clayton? is it the profesoors for the computer systems/eletrical department? with there planes and thair UAV modules?
WTF 44 bux for shipping?
yeah. but now if i buy a TRF jamies gonna say “becasue it won the world camps” if i buy a evo jamies gonna say “its casue shirikan drove one”.. looks like im gonna have 2 win races by my skill and TA04 not beacuse i have a serious over kill of a chassis
hmm gee not a shameless plug for ur site AT ALL
womens intuition?. or maybe the whole calenda and big yellow sign
thats some nice bolding there roe
yeah theres also lots of other stuf u will be amazed at.. how much better contol u get with a better servo and oil shocks also how much more u break with a hotter motor and a proper pack. the trick is every time u break sumthign replace with alloy/graphite and it will be good
the 3.8 is deffiently my favorite motor.. eletric motors are very complex the equations for the physics behind them say the more turns the faster it goes BUT the more turns means less current due to resistance so its all about getting the right mix its hard to work out. just experiment with them till u find what u like
the trick here boys is buy her sumthing the same time. eg. a new necklace or sumthing and the buy ur self a new TRF415 or EVO4 she wont notice then
yeah becasue its epensive and i cant afford to buy one.. let alone fix all the broken parts.. i have a few questions new. what the hell did tamiya say/do to make shurikan go to the evo everyone was pretty sure he would run a 415 secondly the trinity d6 is a faster motor than the orion V2 it just needs more rebuilds y dont these guys just buy like 8 of them and they would be set.. the funny thing is localy every one is raving about Xrays.. where are they?. the HPIs went well they would have been running pro 4s. the losi JRX-s did well NOT and people say its revonlisionary.. BAH
because the DTC street force is a POS MRS4 close its not even a good clone
the 99 dollar 2pl comes with a mc230r ESC aswell
yeah i recon u could deepfry them salads or sumthing make the dressing outta pig fat just to make it more unhealthy.. if u want unhealthy there is always KFC
yeah get a superslick motor that will od it .. your PCb will need to have been fetted. as for the actuators thast all easy bassicialy mount a coil above and one below the flap tehn cut a hole in teh flap and glue in the magnet after all that use some wire to make it sit stragiht then ur done
http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXASX4**&P=0 this is the sort of system i was talking about there a great deal. if u want a really great deal there is a similar pack with a 2Pl (which is a good computer/digital radio) for 99usd
also fo all u guys looking to get into 1:10 besides my TA04 i have 3 sanyo2400 nicad matched packs which are about 6 months old been well maintained also i have a mtronics nicad/nimh delta peak charger (runs from a 12VDC input)
oh for servos u if u buy a radio kit u will useually get a servo if its a futaba radio they will be s3003 which ar good for a start. if u want sumthing better u want high speed as in cars u dont ned THAT much toqure to turn the wheels the high toqrue ones are for things like throttle on nitros and steering on monster trucks. the crosses and discs dont mean crap u will find u just buy a servo saver that goes on and a ball join or scres straight in. the servo horns u dont really need.. as for radio gear u can pick up a radio pack from futaba that has a 2phka radio system a with 1 s3003 servo and it contains MC330CR ESC its a great deal if u can track one down
good radio system for a beginner. next step up is sumthing like a JR XR2 system a simple 2 channel digital system
yeh depending on what u want. u say u want tamiya if u wanna just see if u like 1:10 get a TT01 or TL01 nice chassis parts are every were if u want to get more serious then a TA04 is good for club racing and then if u wanna go topend then u have the evolution4 and the TRF415.
the only suggestion i can make is dont buy a cheap radio buy a decent radio with epa and stuff becasue if you buy total crap then u will really regret it same for motor and ESC. also batterys go to a local club and pick up some 2nd hand packs will be very cheap and will be great just for practicing. bassicialy if they look in good nick they areyeh peak chargers are GREAT.. yeh teh omni on ebay in a god charger for begginers will do AA AAAs well if ur into compertition racing then its not whatu want but for mini-zs and house hold use its good.. but it need a 12v DC input.. car battery is always good
depends if u wanna racee would be abit old/outdated parts wont be easy but not hard i got a TA04 that has been fully hopped up.. check non-micro for sale thread. which will do well in lower 1:10 classes eg novice or 540 pro.
should have little springs that push the brushes onto the come take off the springs then pull them out. bassicialy u know when ts time for new brushes then the old ones are worn small
or the rcmart DTX clone.. yeh im on msn.. boy_with_pants@hotmail.com
