Do you mean HISTORY set as in the cars Michael Jackson has driven?

I would like to see a classic TV show car set with the A-team van and KITT from Knight rider – ohhhh and the truck so you can drive KITT into it on the move!!!

You have to send e-mails to the right guys at toyeast or you could be waiting a long time for a reply.

I have sent about 4 e-mails to ‘Harold’ in the tech department about the LXX mini-z and hasn’t replied to any.

Try sending e-mails to everybody and you might get someone to help.

Yeah right. Do you mean use a small amount of glue on the axle and the surface tension should make the glue have even thickness?
I will try it. If it doesn’t work it should be easy to clean up and start again.
    Thanks BK

OK, how have people got around the fact that the pullback rims (rear) have a bigger hole than the axle from the BCG?

Has anyone filled it with glue and prayed they weren’t wonky, or is there another method?

For your next one you should put flames coming out of the exhaust and included a bogan with a mullet hanging out the window. Then you would have street cred.

That’s a lot of surface area to cover if you are planning on inking and dry brushing a whole BCG cover. If done well the effect would look very good.

Anyway you get a better finish with spray on paint.

I was just speaking to my flat mate (who is currently doing a PhD in micro electronics – specifically antenna design). I figured he would be a good guy to ask.

He reckons that twisting, bending, looping, changing metal and lengthening antennas in micro cars would have little or no effect.

But, after a lengthy discussion (or argument)he has conceded that for a micro car application – a longer antenna made with a high conductive coating will produce a better than stock antenna. A point of note – an antennas signal is carried by the outside of the antenna material i.e. a copper coated wire is better than a nickel coated one.

An antenna in the shape of Australia would have no effect. I am deeply cut.

What if you used a guitar string in the shape of Australia?

I guess I really harped on the negatives of the car a bit too much. But in the words of Samuel Jackson “Aside from how it looks, the car’s cool.”

What’s the anti-boost mod and why would you want to anti any boost?

My fingers are way too big – I need about 1/8 fingers and glue that doesn’t stick to skin.

Seriously – a sharp hobby knife and a very small file help me to squeeze in modifications just right.

Also a small piece of soft foam with a couple of slits cut in it are perfect for storing all the extra BCG motors you end up with.

The drift tyres just make you spin in circles.
If you want controlled power you need to up the power of the motor – then you might get drift. It is still hard to control because the steering is non propo.

What is the chassis length for the different models of LLX mini-z at TE? I think the Viper is the medium set up but what are the others?

I have tried to e-mail tech support there three times but no response.

Maybe you could find a way to wire up the light set to run off the battery like in the beetle?

Then you could let everybody know and we will all love you for it 😀
