15 hours to go on this one!

im not sure about that finks, did you you vote for each entry? once you give an entry a score you must hit the vote now button, and wait for the page to refresh before voting on the next entry.

entries that have been there the longest had the greatest chance of being seen, and therefore voted on by as many members as possible IMO.

    Thanks for participating!!!

nice work there brendan, you still got the skills to produce some nice results. how did you get the nice tint effect on the windows?

you checked out the comp yet? you should enter it with that little gem, and take a look at all the other entries while your there!

the lambo and ferrari sets are available to local retailers, some of them might not get them because of cost though…

maximo was an awesome use of 2d into 3d.

nice to hear there are some other aussies who’ve got what it takes to race ag! there is still no game IMO that runs as fast as phantom class races in the pirana ship.

not a fan of fusion dgs? i still kick emmas (gf)arse at that game, whatever the version. and indeed the lack of designers republic did lessen the appeal of the whole experience, but it still goes mighty fast and the ship design is way better than previous versions.

special edition and 2097’s soundtracks were so damned good. did you know the ps1 disks can be played on regular cd players to get the soundtracks?:smiley2:

old school racers are the coolest. i had a game called hard drivin’ on my atari lynx, it was arcady and in 3d years before daytona was released. it had 2 tracks, racing or stunt.

the stunt track had a loop the loop and some huge bridges to get over. and you could hit the car and it would moo.

gunstar heroes was an alltime favorite on mega-drive.

but then playstation one came out and for 3 months after paying $700 all we had was a demo of wipeout and tohshinden. did that open our eyes and minds!!!

twisted metal2 and wipeout 2097 where probably the most played games amongst my mates and i.

but now the mighty:smiley2:ps2 is hooked up to the 108cm sony rear projector witha full surround system. games never been sooo good.

the pick of the bunch is a modern remake of the classic micro machines intitled mashed. four players, lots of weapons, great track design= awesome fun for 4-2 people.

and if it was a dedictated gaming system im sure all the problems your aware of wouldnt be there. ie crap games…
and a phone that looks like a taco…

camera ans radio catriges are available for the sp and bga as add ons. this brings down the cost and bulkiness of the basic unit.

and over the next year the double screens innovation will either be utilized very well or sink to the bottom of the void ala the ill fated virtual boy and sega dreamcast.
if sony do their research the psp will leave the n-gauge for dead with sony only exclusives, can any one say metal gear solid:snake eater and grand turismo 4?

but back on topic, i would like some official info on the ds has any one got any specifications on this gaming wonder?

psp is the pick of the bunch, just because sheer screen size. and as for power, im not sure of the battery design but get a spare (if you can) or adaptors for ciggy lighters work real well.

the only thing that would be better is a ps2 with a 9″ tft display in the car…

you got a point jamie, 3d game design opens up the possabilities for a good game experience.

i saw a n-gauge running red faction2 and thought it was pretty decent. only thing is i could get the same game brand new on ps2 for under $40.

what little 3d there is on gba it is total crap. that and the lack of buttons means a lack of control.

the strategy games on gba are the strongest of all. advance wars and fire emblem are two very nice playable games that never get old. japanese develop so many games that never make it over here but when they do they are mostly very good.

advance wars even supports 4 player games on the one system.
