On the PCB in the car, there are 6 wires that connect along one side of the board. The contacts that they connect to are labelled V+ (voltage), F (Forward), B (Back/Reverse), L (Left), R (Right) and GND (Ground). Check that the uninsulated wires running from the Left and Right contacts do not touch any other uninsulated wires. These wires (L & R) go from the board to the coils in the front that control the steering.

Yeh i just had a look on toyeast, they look pretty cool. 1/60 scale, so slightly bigger than char-g’s. Anyone know the specs on these ? What kinda motors do they use? And are any parts interchangeable with char-g’s ?? If so, these might be added to my collection lol

try useing a thick peace of tape and covering the front part of your chassy kinda like the facrtoy team chassy protect tape on rc cars. might work

try useing a epoxy paint or a eng. enamle there a lil heavyer but they dont chip easy. i use eng. enamle. theres alot of colors. and theres no need for a top coat to protect it. try goin to a auto store and looking for eng. enamle brake calaper paint or epoxy paint.

I might also suggest using Testors “Glosscote” spray. I’ve used that on more than a few painted body shells and had very good luck with it. Just make sure you apply more than one coat to it.

Ah I see. So you’ve only played on it once and made your judgements, thats fine. Personally I like to try out a few games, give it some time, see if I like it. I like to give something a little more time before making my judgements – but thats just me.

Well ‘kiddie console/games’ or not, you can’t argue with figures and facts, Zelda was the fastest selling game of all time and shifted more N64 consoles then ever before – people bought the console just to play Zelda! Analysts expect the Cube to have shifted 16m units by the end of the fiscal year compared to Xbox’s 11m. I mean, Xbox has made front page in Edge this month asking teh question ‘is it a flop?’.And if you guys think games like Resident Evil and Eternal Darkness are ‘kiddie games’ then you need your head looked at! Resident Evil scared the sh*t out of me and Eternal Darkness is shaping up quite nicely too. Its also quite funny how a lot of the ‘Xbox Exclusive’ titles are now turning up on other consoles too!

I wish everyone would just drop this whole ‘console war’ thing. I mean, most people I know have one of each anyway! Me, I own a Playstation2, Gamecube, PC and Gameboy Advance!

Get yourself a can of sray varnish – These come in either matt, gloss or satin finishes. Gloss gives stronger protection, but it does give a shiny finish. Instead of one thick coat, apply several light coats of varnish – waiting for the first one to be completely dry first. Remember to mask out any areas you don’t want to be varnished such as windows.

Try cutting the stickers more precisely.
