i swear, i nearly crapped myself laughing at that one!!:D:D
    ok, got another.
a fella walks into (surprise, surprise!) a bar with a little monkey on his shoulder. he buys a drink, sits down, but the monkey starts jumping around the pub. he gets on the bar and grabs some peanuts and eats them, then onto a table where he swallows someones lighter, then onto the pool table where he swallows the white ball. the publican says “mate, you’re gunna have to take your monkey outta here”, so the man obliges and leaves.
a couple of weeks later the man is back, with his monkey. “i hope you got your monkey sorted out” says the barman. “yeah no worries now” replies the man and sits down. immediately the monkey jumps on the bar, grabs a coin, pokes it up his bum, then swallows it. he grabs another lighter, pokes it up his bum, then swallows it. “i thought you said you sorted out your monkey” the barman yells. “well,” says the man “he still eats everything he picks up, but after that cue ball incident, he measures things first” :8ball:

but seriously, i reckon most of us can spare a few bucks to help fund the site. perhaps a subscriber pack, couple of stickers, one of dave f’s backgrounds, a bcg(!), that sort of thing. i’m more than willing to offer help or ideas and i know most of us are. so whadda ya think?:8ball:

i use a sharpened toothpick for detail and try to let surface tension to work in my favour. i’ve masked successfully with blu tack, just the other way around. i covered the lights before spraying:8ball:

    lol:D i geddit!!
impreza, i did the undercoat and red over the whole body, then the windows and detail. i cut the windows in with a sharpened toothpick then filled in with a brush. i just touched up some bits where i went over the lines with a toothpick and the red. they were originally going to be clear, but i stuffed up the first paint job and the thinners made the plastic cloudy. in fact i stuffed up lots, i broke the shell twice during the whole process!!blackeye: (good ol’ super glue!):8ball:

thanks heaps!:approve: i love the colour too. it’s tamiya “TS-49 bright red” if you’re wondering. i did 2 coats of white undercoat, 2 coats of red and about 6-7 coats of clear (kept getting last minute ideas!). i used some loose weave silver ribbon for the center grille and hand drew the little ‘holes’ on either side, and the tarpaulin straps on the back:8ball:

just fill the holes with epoxy because it’s slightly rubbery. then make your hole with your smallest flat precision screwdriver. just make sure you start in the dead center and drill carefully with the screwdriver. take your time, and if you do stuff up, just fill them with glue and start again. and don’t worry you’ll get the hang of it quickly:8ball:

i got this one from kittycatsmack’s profile page,

2 goldfish are swimming around a tank, and one says to the other “do you know how to drive this thing?!”

p.s., i’m guessing they have a high staff turnover at this place:8ball:

a lot of radio gear is on 27 mhz (cordless phones, toy walkie talkies, etc) so that could be a contributing factor:8ball:

don’t wrap the wire around the axle, or it won’t move! there are 2 little holes under the original motor that you should use:8ball:
