is the motor in those things inline with the chassis, and if so, does the motor deceleration torque the chassis down on one side?
free rev it while holding it, then hit the brakes and see if the car tries to twist..
and if y’all would rather I didn’t post about cars I don’t know about, here’s ya chance to set me straight 😉
cheers 🙂
here’s some spaces to make the message character minimum..
…….
rc2, can you tell me if the Mini X is 1/24, or is it 1/28 like the Mini Z etc?
just wanna use 1/24 model kit bodies…
the coaxial choppers are a great place to start (Twister Medivac etc), wish I’d started with one of those lol.
merc, I’ve got a mate who’s selling a complete MAME cabinet with lotsa good gear, I’ll send him this way 😉

i’m just busy learning to fly my chopper, it’s a big commitment! 😀 :8ball:
chop chop chop ….. 😉
I’ve only run brushless in planes, and no throttle delay there.. using 8 – 12 cells though.
most (even cheap) ESCs have many programmable features you can turn on/off, reverse may be one of them. Have a good read of any instructions included, although the Engrish can sometimes be more confusing!
Good luck!
I’m in the “waiting on ebay” stage..
yeah onya rcs2..
spread the love :p
CHEERS for the heads up on these (via a bump in another post..)
I still plan on getting a chassis only kit (motor is the only electrical bit included) but it will be made into a slot car running on 12V..
I’ll give it a f’n hard thrashing on your behalf…

Somehow I can see my work production, where I am now, slowing up a little
hey it might cut down your internet time 😉
you should be fairly happy with the ZZ. Did you get a ZZ SE or a standard one?
Those crawlers are awesome. Heaps of custom work in those.
thanks DH 🙂
man that site is a pain in the ASS…
I think q steers are propo too?
with skid steering?
fark that’s a cool offer..
but do they eat rotors??
Playing with toy cars keeps me out of bed (some days)..
to remove PS paint, try a citrus based foaming degreaser, let soak for a while 😉
my favourite is the Zip Zaps Monster trucks.
Not the smallest, but much more versatile on a desk top. And still quite quick too!
Bit CG’s are great fun, easy to mod. ZZSE’s are proportional. Depends what you want, but all are worth getting.
Or Tomy Wild Char G’s battle trucks, or IR micro tanks, or….. hehe
Aaron
I’ve been looking at those “flappy winged things” as a present for my daughter’s birthday.
Are they reasonably controllable?
How robust?Cheers
DaveI’m still having fun with them, partly cos I ain’t interested in Iwaver Z’s hehe.
Also because I’m a flat broke student (not so hehe..)
oi!
I’m a mechanical knob ahahahaha
funny…
I was just looking at the same site/items.
best soundtrack ever…
I’ve been singing that song since I last heard it over 20 yrs ago
oh yeah – stoopidly fast small car too!
if it wasnt for shoe goo in my skating days I wouldve went through a pair of shoes a month.
Mate, I’m still using shoe goo for exactly that purpose..
Only now I go through a pair of knees every month :p
is that the yellow stuff your talking about
nah, you must be talking about contact adhesive (Gel Grip etc). Shoe Goo sets as a tough, hard CLEAR rubber.
Shoe Goo fixes all!!
No, I don’t even own a mini rc, but trust me it’s wikkid stuff..
look for it in a sports shoe store.
unless it’s a f’n seagull…
hmmm..
might paint my micro heli white and black…
onya dh
yeah, I started with a walkera 36, and all the heli guys have said it’s a total pig to fly, but if I can master that, I can fly anything hehehehe
got the basics happening at least !
