is the motor in those things inline with the chassis, and if so, does the motor deceleration torque the chassis down on one side?

free rev it while holding it, then hit the brakes and see if the car tries to twist..

and if y’all would rather I didn’t post about cars I don’t know about, here’s ya chance to set me straight 😉

I’ve only run brushless in planes, and no throttle delay there.. using 8 – 12 cells though.

most (even cheap) ESCs have many programmable features you can turn on/off, reverse may be one of them. Have a good read of any instructions included, although the Engrish can sometimes be more confusing!

    Good luck!

CHEERS for the heads up on these (via a bump in another post..)

I still plan on getting a chassis only kit (motor is the only electrical bit included) but it will be made into a slot car running on 12V..

I’ll give it a f’n hard thrashing on your behalf…

hey it might cut down your internet time 😉

you should be fairly happy with the ZZ. Did you get a ZZ SE or a standard one?

Those crawlers are awesome. Heaps of custom work in those.

my favourite is the Zip Zaps Monster trucks.

Not the smallest, but much more versatile on a desk top. And still quite quick too!

Bit CG’s are great fun, easy to mod. ZZSE’s are proportional. Depends what you want, but all are worth getting.

Or Tomy Wild Char G’s battle trucks, or IR micro tanks, or….. hehe

    Aaron

I’ve been looking at those “flappy winged things” as a present for my daughter’s birthday.
    Are they reasonably controllable?
    How robust?

    Cheers

if it wasnt for shoe goo in my skating days I wouldve went through a pair of shoes a month.

Mate, I’m still using shoe goo for exactly that purpose..

Only now I go through a pair of knees every month :p

is that the yellow stuff your talking about

nah, you must be talking about contact adhesive (Gel Grip etc). Shoe Goo sets as a tough, hard CLEAR rubber.
