    hey men!
a 12 hrs race have already been made,I saw it on atomic website…
I remembre atomic team broke one of the servo wires..I don’t know which specs were the car,but remembre big boxes of tires, and batteries…

    yes the 04 are kyuosho clone(2WD monster..does it have sense??? )
Anyway I’ve purchased more than once from iwaver and had problem just with the 02 servo wires,so tiny and easy-to-break.
This monster is really attractive, but I’d wait a bit to see if they’ll make upgrades(such as BB and OIL shocks, but maybe the radline ones are compatible)and maybe some spare parts.

    are feigao ones good?
    see Himodel..
Anyway I have another question:which brand of AAA are you using for brushless?
I was attracted by the 750 intellect, but I’d like to hear more voices about.

Just a question to ph2t: don’t you have any interference trouble due to the esc close to rx?
    Thanks!

I’ll suggest you something more…try to do an integrated rx/esc that fit iwaver/kyosho chassis, with your super fets, that can handle 2S lithium and big motors, and most of all has the standard pin for standard servo.
Then if you can build something similar, maybe on 40 Mhz,it should be great!!!
IMO there’s less and less sense in upping to hobby-grade esc and continue to use standar 27 AM rx and that 4 wires servo…

what did you use to make stands?
    I could need some…
For the servo use a 5gr sevro, doesn’t pull 1,5 kg,but it’s easier to fit on the chassis(even cuz I don’t thin you’ll need that power on servo)

won’t you need an upper deck?
Cf is of course rigid but it will have binding without an upper deck…

    I know that rx,is it the GWS,right?

I didn’t think it was worth starting another thread(since I’m just creating a variation of ph2t’s design) so this is where my Brushless Mini-Z is heading…

I had to scrap the F1 design because I couldn’t get the body to snap down over the RX’s cap towers. I’ve switched to a 1/24th conversion and staying for the most part with guidelines similar to ph2t’s….my only variation is keeping the RX pcb intact on the exterior so I can mange programming without having a shunt in the lines. I’ll also be able to use the RX for other 1/18th applications.

This is my status…note the custom Li-Po tray, custom disc damper plate and 1/24th scale Mercedes CLK-GTR body.

I think this’ll be some fun to run.:D

    The body is WOW!!!
which esc are you going to use?
I noticed that GWS is selling now the pico rx with horizontal pin,so we could use the dead space under the esc to fit esc and servo plugs without remove rx pins and solder the wires…I’m developing(veeery slowly)a similar project on my iwaver…

I’ll post here my question cuz I’m going to do something similar with my Iwaver…
Do you think that a 25A brushless esc could be enogh for a 130 class model upon 6500Kv,using 4,8V setup?
And,most of all,I’ve seen that many brushless esc(mostly the ones for airplanes)say the work on 6-x cells, but will the work with a 4 cell setup?
    Thanks!

    PS:
This BL mini-z is great, but I think you should have left the possibility to unplug esc and servo from the rx(I’ve purchased the same one rx 😀 )
I’ll probably do this positiooning the rx vertical in the center chassis, with the pin size down,so I’ll put the wires in that dead space behind left and righ cells, and the esc in your same position(of course I’ll use a different esc)

    I want a video with that 300 class,body-annhilator motor.

15 amps is more than enough for many motors, but here’s my doubt:is the motor draw indipendent from the motor class?
    I mean…If I run x2-ls-pro that draws 6A @ no load could I run maybe a 250-300 class motor that,opportunatley geared,has at most 10A draw?

anothe question…with those 49Z fets could the esc run bigger class motors sucj?h as 300 or 400?
I know that the ESC is composed by 2 main parts, controller and fets..will the first burn up running bigger motors?
    Thanks!

I’ve got the nanodragon2,it has a very god stock equipment(metal dogbones, and wheelshafts, pretty good motor, and no wheel wobble as the nanodragon 1).
It gives you a little more work than the mini-t,due to its 3 differential-4wd mechanichs.
The tx is great:10 memories, epa, abs, dual rate, atl, reverse and exp on both channel(there’s also a third-switch channel),and the module is switchable(you can put 40 MHz or spectrum.
The first 2 things to change immediately are:stock bushing with sealed bearings(8 pieces, all the remaining mechanics has bb)and the oil ammo, cuz stock are crap…
I’ve hears some friends runnoing with a 9,6 NiMh pack and the inopo motors(always from toyeast,30k for $8)getting real goo performance!

AM I right with the pos/neg battery connection on the board, the ones near the motor?
I wouldn’t like to plug the battery and fry everything…
    about the switch,I’ll go to bypass it,using a dean..this should not be a problem..I’ll run a speedy 07 BB,nothing so drawing…it has 52 turns…

Can anyone help me in doing this mod with an iwaver EB?

    here’s the pic
    img0015gj3.jpg

    Circle black:negative battery link
    circle red:…guess what??? 😀
    square it’s the motor…
Actally I don’t know whci of each couple is + or -…I remember for sure that they were alterante…but I don’t remember which of the servo motor and pot wires is the positive and negative…

circle yellow is servo motor and green the pot wires…I think… 😕

    ***EDIT***

the 2 hlos circle-rounded are not tp plug batteries, but near each one there’s a soldered tip…those are to plug batteries…

With 2-3 Ohm you mean 1 resistor per wire?Do they exist so small?(2-3 Ohm?)

the mini-x esc and the moped can be plug up to 6 NiMh cells,so I don’t think that lith setup will blow them.
A different thing is the motor…I’ll probably use for iwaver with moped an ultra-dash armature in a new ball bearing case, maybe with neos but I don’t know, the ultra dash has a really good torque itself…I don’t think I’ll blow the moped esc with this motor…well I hope!

as I find those mosfet and try I’ll surely make a review and maybe a video…I’ll probably use on my nanodragon with the inopo motor, that seems a very powerful motor(for $9)…
My only worrying now is about switch, thsoe tiny wires don’t give me the impression to be able to handle more than the stock 8A…

    Anyway,on my iwaver 02 I’m fitting a moped esc,similar to the spy(cost less)
I’ll post pics next week maybe.

well..now with that 50-100A esc we can run 2 plasmatomic toghether…wahahahahahahah:smiley15:

…whops,we’d need an half kilo lipo…

    here’s the results:
I’ve put negtive tester on black wires, red tester on the left mosfet legs, starting from left the values were,respectively:1-1-0,5

Then I’ve put positive tester on red wires and negative on the right mosfet legs, heres’ tha value: 1-0,5-1

Now,got this datas, which channel are these mosfet?
    Sorry but I’m a liiiitle noob about electronics 😮 😮 😮
