Sorry I missed you guys, there was only a slight chance I could’ve made it, and it didnt eventuate.
I’m still hoping there will be a proper meet at some stage in the future.
:)uASlimmest of chances that I may be a late inclusion, no promises yet tho.
:)uAYeah I’ll give it a go. Send them over.
:)uAYeah, they will get you on price one way or the other. I have dealt with this guy in the past and not had any problem at all.
:)uASounds like the 27A B & C freqs might be a bit of furfy, but I’d like to be proved wrong.
:)uAIm sure that can be modded out.
:)uAYeah looks good, *small round of applause*
:)uAKero, 4 x AAs have the correct internal resistance to limit the charging current automatically. If you have the two cells in the car in series you can charge it with 4 x AAs (6v) connected straight to it. 90 seconds is a good charging time, 2 minutes maximum. At around 2 minutes you might notice the car’s cells starting to warm up a bit, if they get hot you have gone too far. A 4 x AA holder and a charging plate work very well as a dual cell charger.
:)uABettyK, unfortunately the site hosting your pics has a reasonably low daily usage/access limit, thats why they cant be seen now.
:)uAThats a damn good price for those.
I wish I had known before I got home, oh well there’s alway tomorrow.
:)uANicely done Ph2t. Can you confirm that they are actually running on different frequencies for 27A,B & C. Or does that only refer to the switch on the back with the ‘dummy’ third position? Eg, does this 40B car respond to a CCG 40Mhz controller at all.
:)uAEverything seems to be running well again his morning. Back to full speed, and hopefully to stay
:)uAI have seen a pic of this idea somewhere on the net before. It is probably the most practical way to mod a bit for rear suspension.
Make sure you post some pics when you are done.
:)uAevery electronic component has a wisp of smoke inside it, its only when the component releases that little bit of smoke that it stops working.
:)uAWe have had this before, I think it relates to the host server having problems (located somewhere in Europe, I think).
I guess we will just have to wait until it sorts itself out.:)uA
Nice find Imprez, especially for the tech heds.
:)uAhehehe, sorry SMP, there was a thread on this not too long ago. If you do a search it should come up.
What came out of it was basically what Drsquidd answered above. I have successfully used the rolling paper method using “rollies”
:)uATo Trash, Ph2t, and Crazydave congrats and well done. These are some high class models. I am in awe of many of the entries to this comp, you guys have some serious modelling skills.

Damn!!!!!!!!
Sounds like the stress levels are building up.
Oh well, they say you have to suffer for your art to produce anything decent.
Perahps cutting you ear off might help.
:)uAThat should look excellent, you have really got these worked out now. But then, you have done the hard yards on these with those that didnt work.
Well done ph2t, are you taking commisions?
:)uAThe drum roll has started, anticipation is building…….
:)uAAnd of course the garden will benefit by having a matching hose fitting the same colour as you 350Z.
Purdy !!
Looking good ph2t, nice work, and on my fave shell too
:)uAIve hit the lead….yaaaaaay…..
But will I stay there, that is the question.
:)uA
And does it really matter, that is the more important question.Edited by – micro_Amps on 02 December 2003 23:00:35
Wow, Trash, we did learn something today didnt we..?
All that caffeine does make a difference.
I used to drink a litre of the stuff before exams to kick start the brain, I was busting for the loo by the end of each exam though. That story of the guy sitting in front of the dish was probably an urban myth, come to think of it.
