As bananas ripen they release ethene (or ethane can’t remember which). As a banana is exposed to ethene it ripens. The wax slows the release of ethene!

I think the RRP in USA is only US$150… so that HK listing at $159.95 isn’t doing anyone any favours.

Down here they were A$350 when they arrived 2 mths ago; yesterday the same LHS had them for $295.

Beware, you can seriously blow a lot of dough on Mini-T hopups. Bearings, motors, wheels, tyres, bodyshells (different colours + a Hummer and a VW Beetle coming soon), oil shocks…

Thanks man, buuuuut, not really the information I was looking for.
You see, I have a reasonable amount of money kickin around at the moment, and I’m not sure which’ll be better value, a Mini-T or a Mini-Z Monster. At the moment the monster is ahead, simply because I have seen the video of it. I really need to know the Mini-T’s strengths and weaknesses verses the Monster-z I guess.

Chikitos, one of my friends is obsessed with chikitos. You ever send him out on a snack run he will always come back with a handfull of these foul bars. The strange part is he’ll only ever eat half of one before throwing it away.

Scale racers are good for FETting. The boards are very similar if not identical to a Mini-z board, but UPSIDE DOWN. In a Kyosho Mini-z the fets are on the underside of the board, in the LXX, they are on top. Stack ’em high!

Well, a regular bit can be interchangably monsterized…
I glued my front monster rims to a spare set of LXX front tyres. They just pop on and off. I didn’t do that on the rears, but it wouldn’t be hard to.

Hell I’ll throw my hat over the wall…
I live in Noble Park, and work in Moorabbin during the day, and at Parkmore Shopping Centre at night.
    Anyone nearby?

I do deliveries for an Auto parts company in moorabbin. There are probably a dozen bearing shops in that suburb, let your fingers do the walking son, just make sure you know what you are after.

How about a chassis that holds 2 batts comfortably, but still fits regular bit shells.

i know its kind of dumb, but I’d love to see an all-alloy drivetrain… Pinion, transfer and drive gears all made of alloy. Not real practical, but, awfully cool. And LOTS of anodizing!!!!
