It would probably be the right stuff to use, but the one I was thinking of was “Loctite Blue”, an automotive threadlock. They have a pretty big range including a gluestick style threadlock. I can’t find anything about the packets I mentioned online, maybe it was a promo thing…

I’m not sure if all do, but the auto spares shop I used to work for had thread locker in little “sauce sachet” sized packets for about a dollar if you only intend on using it the once/trying it out.

Man don’t worry about your mobile at a pump, when you hit the starter motor of your car you get a much hotter, better spark then any 3.6v mobile phone will ever throw. Dropping it, and the subsequent sparks off the metal termianls MAY pose a risk, but no greater than, for example, dropping your keys.

One of my mates spent 3 years at a macca’s. He used to always tell us about crazy recipes they would make up. 2lb burgers, donuts (2 buns, a couple of those jam thingys for the pancakes, deepfried for a couple of seconds). creamy soda made out of soda water and soft serve mix.

Worst fast food story…? I worked at a Pizza restaurant, where a baby was concieved on the “make bench”.

rashumble7 I find that all automotive type glues rock for RC, they tend to be much stronger than hardware shop glues for some reason, and cheaper for me 🙂

Sorry panda, I meant are the powertech AA’s (2000mAh) crap? I am running them in my (now almost undrivable) VMG, it absolutly flies, but those powertechs are getting MIGHTY hot, hotter than the motor, and significantly hotter than the FET’s. Is it an upgrade to Energizers, and is it worth doing?
