The am sets are nice but if you are judging by performance and not what the set comes with I still have to say the Super Bits (higher mhz not the 27’s)

If you are going with what it somes with then I go with the Tuneup Box 🙂

The boosters are nice but only if you do the anti boost mod to them.

I stil find the mat(Ultraman hero) cars run better then the booster cars and im bet this it true with all the hero series. Only thing the booster is really good for is slowing down in the turns.

Well it comes doen to alot of things and I can see both sides.

Its just like how sony will release a game for PS@ on NTSC-J but not NTSC.

But with the internet now the laws are very grey. IMO I do not agree with what the major companies are doing.

If you offer it for sale and it not available in another contry then its now a collectible.

You dont see companies trying to stop the sales of vintage toys/games/records or any other product.

if nothing else this will help there over all sales as more people will be drawn to the product that normally would not know about it.

Poop its not like tomy has offered most of those sets in other contries anyway.

Well I would say this all depends on what you are looking for? You want nothing more then top speen? if so do with teh 4.2 king (white endbell) as they are the best for top speed. I heard that the R-Spec has nice torque as well as good top speeed.

All up to what you are looking for.

The think about a motors having names is silly IMO cause I can take a 2.6 say and give it a nice name doesn’t mean its bettter. I would inquire with them and ask what the rpm’s are for those 2 motors.

Now you ask why well if I have to tell you on the body then theres no point. As for the chassie I have had no “out of range and keeps going probs” and I find them really realy peppy 🙂

Yep, add a switch to the controller, and some components to the Rx pcb and there you have it, an extra r/c function.

I have seen these and I have heard that some Z parts will fit but then again this is all word of mouth.

I was thinking of getting one in my next order cuase as you said they are not that much so if it sucks atleast it will look good on the shelf.

Going by my other LXX cars I am sure they are ok

Yes the bodies are nice, not sure on the cars themselves as mine has yet to arrive. But we will see 🙂 I do know that one car was was very impressed by was the LXX beetle with built in lights. For an LXX this car is nice (dave try her out B4 you do anything to it 🙂 ).

Yea I got the came now and its not bad. There are some other games you might want to try like Battle Gear 2 (or Tokyo Road Race) and the Jap version of Automodellista rocks considering the US version killed the stearing.

I am not an Aussie but I have one and I love it. There are a few mods out there now that will greatly improve the cars performance. Right now mine is in the middle of gettin fets 🙂

The fets dont do a great deal of improvment but they do help.

Well I can’t say if its worth it as I dont have one to compare quality or anything. But I guess teh worst that could happen is the thing is total crap so you just body mod it and the controller so that you now have a nice display piece on your shelf 🙂

I have seen others like the one trash has in his gallery for alitle less tehn $200 usd. Right now I think I will stick to something cheaper lol
