im a big long time fan of the stampeed the rusler is a bandit with a few mods. but by far the stampeed for me i just like big trucks 🙂

xl1 by far but even that sucks monkey ballz i like lrp and novak i use a gt7 or a tc2 in my mission. all you really need for your truck is a novak exploer or a rooster is a nice esc. the xl1 cant handy any low turn motors or any extra cells.

last year rc car action had a stampeed doin 50.8 mph with a 15 turn quad 8 trinity vis matched cells and a rooster esc. if you want i can give you a list of everything that was on the truck

yesterday i raced a hpi proceed and showed him who his daddy was nothing like getting bit#| slaped with a italian race eng. in a over powered over geared 1/10th scale monster

well go to minizracer.com get a cf o plate roll shock set alu. motor mount with heat sink a turbo or 2X6 fets a nml hand wound or a pn 38turn. a set of dry ball berings a set of roll shock springs and front springs a ball diff with carbide or ceramic balls and you should be set

i got every alu. part on my car some you might want becouse there stronger like a front top cover servo gears stering slider front knuckles.

also for tires i use either foams on alu. rims or pn 18c rear 9.5mm flats with 20c rounds upfront

3003 replaceing with 7389.

im 1/2 way done hooking up my novak spy to my z and so far it woorks. only tink is i just wish it was clear blue instead of orange or koysho sold a clear orang chassy but oh well you cant have it all. but by far this is better than the fet stack and it’s smoother throtle responce and has a nice brake.

for traction for all this power i made a longer o plate and im useing a 65 mustang mach 1 model body “the 1 with the 428cj” and i just the trunk off the inter. and glued it in and put some weight in the back and it improved traction and handleing alot

thats why my fets are ontop to i got some airflow over them. i found some better fets than the fets were all useing but there not cheep about $3.50 usd a peace so i bought 6 to try out.

2 days ago when i was at a hobby shop a met a guy who hooked up a novak spy esc to his z and he sowed me how. so tomorrow after i get payed im gonna buy a spy reversabull and try it out.

but i raced him with a x speed and he had a x speed and the same gearing and he was keeping up with my 2X12 stack but could stop better and had better controle and the spy wasent even heating up.

so im gonna take pics up and post them on a site and put a link to them on the fourm so show how to hook up a micro esc.

there not that hard to install you really dont need pics.

most you can stack are 2X6 without any mods. to install them just stack them ontop of each outher and bend the metal tabs down mack shure the writeing on the fets is faceing you so you can read it. then get somthing small to hold them togher i use a alagator clip off my batt. charger. then just put a line of solder down from the top fets tab to the bottom fets tab. and do that for each line of tabs. befor you connect them to the pcb mack shure you lines of solder dont touch the outher lines you want nice straght lines that dont touch each outher.

this is the hardest part connecting them to the pcb. just take off the old fets and i put a small dot of super glue in on the bottom of the fet to hold it to the pcb so it dosent move. then with a small small tip on your soldering iron just connect all the tabs to the pcb

i have 2X12 in my car and the the stacks are ontop of my batt. holders. to use that meny fets you need to do a little cutting but you dont really need that meny the car is to fast only reason i did that was to see what the top speed of it would be.

well to me it isent i dont like um. to me there cheep mini z’s and the controle is that equal to a rc car from toys r us.

you could find a used mini z for about the same amount. or just buy a all the chassy parts the servo and rec. and speedo and use the remote from your stampeed there bolt 27mhz just use the xtall set. if you wanna do that i’ll give you a list of all the parts you need from towerhobbies and give ya a discount code.

you can get the viper mini z for $99 usd from tower what isent bad.

my advise is buy a mini z palm runners are crap

i liked mine for about 20 min till i fryed it with a wizard drag slot car motor and neo magnets. havent really drove it alot i need a new bord. drove it for 5 min with the stock motor and its a lil turd but its fun.

i just wanna find a skyline body for it and paint it like my mini z skyline and my 1/10th skyline and my micro rs4 skyline and lime um up and take a pic

well only way tires are faster is if there bigger. you must me what tires are better for it.
i used on mine proline maulchers for off road and road hogs for onroad.

max tires suck and you need custom hubs to fit becuse there bigger and the axle is bigger.

i used clod rims and ries on mine in the snow all you need are clod rims and tires and the tamiya parts bag for the hub and gearboxes it will give you the adapers and hex’s in the bag. and it makes your stampeed really really wide and it will never flip over.

and the tires are way bigger than maxx tires

micro rs4 and the mini z coust about the same give or take $30 and there about the same amount of up keep there just alot more parts out for the micro rs4 than the z thats why people think they coust more.

and it runs for around $160 and mini z coust about $140 so it depends on what stuff you get and whare you get it. but i sold a micro rs4 ofna power brok orion big block hardcore racing titanum pro chassy hpi ball diff front 1 way diff and harden steel dog bones for $50 “needed $50 more for my new esc for my 1/10th”

schumacher are alot i got the mission carbon.

if you want a fast stock rtr car get the tc3 rtr

if you can find a used schumacher sst99 pro get it those are nice cars.

schumacher is like the ferari of rc tamiya would be the honda alot of sh#$ cars but some are like the nsx and fast.

schumacher coust alot to run hop up and fix.

but if you want a rtr car that your gonna race you only have 2 choices the tc3 or the losi xxxs its like picking between a camaro and a mustang

pee drop 2 15X2 phantom handwounds in it and see what it dus. just get a novak cyclone and only run 1 pack becouse 2 packs is just 2 much power with those mods.

i got codes that are like save $10 on a $24 or more order save $50 on a order of $120 or more.

4 months of entering random codes till some worked and it payed off. 🙂

if they dont bolnk proline protoform hpi might make it just give it a month if people like it thy will make it.

look for a 1/25th scale model and use the body if you want i’ll tell you how to make mounts for it.

and if you really want i might sell my mr2 enzo shell cuz im a big fan of the modena for racing and my 93 cobra model body for it for pimping. i went all the way lowered the front end and used mini 4wd foams on the back becouse there about 2mm higher than z tires and make it look like its ben tubed. im makeing it into a prosotck mustang and at the moment i cut the hood off a pro stock camaro model and im gonna use the tamiya model putty to mold it on my stangs hook and give it a nice scale 8 inch cowl.

next i just need thinner front rims with round tires and i gotta make a scale wheele bar or copy the wheelie bar that came with my camaro model but i need it ta be metal.

the car stock is nic efor a all around sport ride but a racer it will never be. just get a few parts like a good esc berings digital servo and a nice mod. and its a nice little car.

just ben 1 of the threds on the axle to make friction. i read that in a tip in rc car action not to long ago ta keep 1/10th wheele nuts on

yeah i got the yellow enzo and i should get it in 2-3 days. from what my friend said all the hobby shops are sold out and they only got about 4 in at a time the yellow beaing the rarest so far. so i’ll let ya guys know what i think of it
