Update:
‘Spider’ boards produced from this week are lighter than their predecessors! The electronics stays the same but we are now building them on 0.8mm boards. The new thin board versions save a minute amount of weight and sink heak a little better.
Under Development
EnsyWeensy is coming and will be the smallest footprint external FET solution available. How soon? Well we’re still testing to make sure we’ve got a solution that will knock your socks off!

Site Owner Guy.I’ve got to try some different bodies as the Kawada diff is a bit wider than a stock MR02 in the rear and the larger tyre diameter fouls the wheel arces on the F1. That’s why I’ve picked up a Topcad diff.
The single oiler in the rear seems to be quite softly set, which should mean it dampens without causing to much overall change. The modified mount I use for it has made it somewhat more free moving…

Site Owner Guy.I’m not setting a price on them, not becuase I want to make a massive profit, but becuase I want to give the best price I can without subsidising someones purchase. We know to the cost to us, what we don’t know is the international shipping cost, and can’t calculate out the duty etc. We’re also not taking money until we get a shipping notice for them.

Site Owner Guy.What would be good is if I/we make up some basic sheets that take 8 or 12 cars and give a quick tree down to a winner…
So you start with 8 cars on the left, thehn run two races of 4 cars, take the top two cars from each race and produce a race of 4 cars, then the 4 lower placed cars race. This gives people who crash out early a chance to race back up through the ranks to get into the final race of 4 cars..

Site Owner Guy.We just shipped out a Yellow GTC to a customer (Special order HK to Customers door in 4 days). and it did look schweet!
I am holding some pre-orders for the AWD, and after checking this mornign cannot accept any more (wholesaler has closed off pre-orders). Overall it looks like I _may_ have one spare AWD in White….

Site Owner Guy.The car might – but my drving is pretty average!

Site Owner Guy.I’ve now fitted a Kyosho Oil top-shock, and have a Topcad ball-diff for running rubber tyres (or Gandini Foams) which should mean there’s an option for clearance under the F1 shell.

--
Site Owner Guy.Unfortunately our supply of Gandini foams is currently not good. We can source more but instead of the ~$18 a set they’re be closer to $28 a set which I think is unreasonable.
I’m still looking but the basic problem is:
Gandini is imported by Dawn Trading, they won’t bring them in for us; Gandini Italy won’t sell direct to us becuase Dawn Trading is their AU dealer. And not many other comanies are stocking them at the moment either. RCMart used to have them but I think they’re out of them now too.

Site Owner Guy.I’ll check if I have a set – I’ve had a few sets of the MR02 multi-spokers from iWaver and they seem to suit the bodies. In fact the Blue and Silver demo car runs those as its street wheels (along with a Topcard Balldiff)… saviong the Kawada and Foamies for racing

Site Owner Guy.Here’s a fresh overview!
--
Site Owner Guy.All I’ve had to do witht hebearings is flick out the little plastic bushes that normally reside on the axle of the idler gear, then pop the bearings onto either side of the idler gear and reassemble. The fit in the gearbox cover is not too flash but I think that’s the plastic moulding not the bearing.
while the bearings look different they are the same also..

Site Owner Guy.*laughs* It never ends does it?
Got my new K750i Mobile two days ago…. Nice havign a good phone again 🙂

Site Owner Guy.The alloy is definately good enough, and the price is awesome. We will be moving to stock the ‘Alloy Everything’ kits in the future if TE continues to make them available.
Installed the IW04/MZM Wheelie bar and front bumper last night. Also did some testing with the bearings in the gear case…. Bad news is I discovered a crack in the tie-rod so I guess we’ll have to alloy that as well!
A.
--
Site Owner Guy.It was $30 and DD saves everyone hassles 🙂
A.
--
Site Owner Guy.What amazes me with he iWaver alloy is the quality. The fit and finish is better than every GPM alloy part I’ve handled. Some of the prices aren’t that crash hot, but TE are dumping it real cheap on ebay much to me own personal dissappointment beucase they’re undercutting the low volume wholesale price….
But I’m lookign at doing some of those ‘all the alloy 14 part sets’ for like AUD$120-150 in the shop which is just unreal value. We shall see though.

Site Owner Guy.Don’t forget to pick up your mount then Kev!

Site Owner Guy.Nice 🙂
Can’t wait to put pics of our revised setup up – and also better pics 🙂 Those were done in a rush!

Site Owner Guy.*laughs* Not as bad as another customer who nailed the truck directly into a kerb and prtty much shattered the front end!
I’m keeping a close eye on our test truck but so far all good. More alloy ariving for it this week (bumper, wheelie bar and wheels)
Also goign to finally re-bearing it in the next couple of days to test that bearing fit issue.
A.
--
Site Owner Guy.You’re right…. The little board is for something else. It’s still in very early testing phases (assembled two versions yesterday) and have yet to run it yet………. 17mm x 18mm and 0.8mm thick, wonder what it will be used for 🙂 It’s ‘EnsyWeensy’
As an aside, I’ll be doign some video of the ‘Spider’ in action this week, having finally got a few things organised so we’ll be able to see the benefits!

Site Owner Guy.ebay… There’s a a few people opn ebay sellig MS Pro Duos for gaming etc quite cheap. Looking so I can load up the K750i (when I get it next week)
The w800i is a bit of a let down Panda… The ‘whiteysliver’ of the case is actually some scudgey dirt and grime attracticing plastic that looks shocking. Very dissapointed. Will have to double check a retail version of the phone but I can’t see why it’d be different.
