yeah, i expect it to be difficult to have any discussions regarding epochs or thier new home over there. but hey, it”s his little world to run…

i do look forward to seeing many of the epoch fans who did not flee or leave, dispite the stories told elsewhere, on http://www.epoch1-43.com . there are some very interesting things in development there such as the oval track and nascar possiblities.

i can assure you epoch”s are not dead:)

RE the Ghostbusters car…it will be easier to do with the longer ”van” chasssis that is out now, the odyessy etc…AOSHIMA staff once told me at a show that they werent going to do it because of the longer wheelbase..

    bit,

if they did, i’d be the first to pre-order one from you 😉 get my email re: banners for panic/aus?

well, there is only so many ways to design the same part. it’s not all that different fromeither the pn racing or atomic version. i don understand your train of thought though. it’s nice to see originality rather than rebranding another manufactuer.

it”s only a matter of time before i have all the aoshima/skynet limited release bodies….. i”m a patient person and wait for good prices as typically they are quite expensive. the mad max bodies have proven to be a valuable addition so those are typically harder to come bye and even harder to find at what i would consider an affordable price.

the back to the future 1 is awsome! i have the ‘plated’ version which is a must really. you can paint a car to look like a delorean but when you have an actual mettalic finish, you just can”t beat that.

    http://www2.mini-zracer.com/gallery/album103

i also have all the initial d bodies. these were at one time hard to find but kyosho has since re-released them with the mr-015 series. i doubt they were a large production run but you should be able to find them for awhile and i do believe they will get hard to find again. it”s only a matter of time. i kick myself for not buying the white hood ae86 when i had the chance. if you find one now it”s just way to much for anyone to buy as a show peice. my only complaint about the rx7’s are the lack of show accurate wheels. aoshima got most if not all the other’s correct but didn’t even bother with theseblackeye.gif

    http://www2.mini-zracer.com/gallery/album515

i already have the ‘metallic’ batmobile on hold for me waiting for payment. i really look forward to this one joining my collection.

the mad max bodies are still tops on my aqusition list. i would LOVE to have an ecto 1 but that is a long shot given the age of the movie.

    1. the track is located in our unfinished basement actually. yes, it’s very easy to setup and tear down. teh pins for the rails are the only tedious chore involved. not sure what the last question is asking?

    2. we typically use 10 deg tires on the rear and 10-20 on the front. gpm radials and kyosho mt’s, atomic grooved are all used on my track.

    3. i bought the rcp trac from mini-zracer.com which has the best prices by far.

    4. i have about 2 mini96 tracks (30cm) and 3 wide l (50cm) tracks. there are many threads on mini-zracer in the tracks section with direct feedback from rcp himself.

    thank you!

The Kyosho track is very nice. And I have somequestion about your track, can you help me please?

    1. I see you set it up in the living room, is it easy to setup andpack up? Anddoes it strong or hard?

    2. What tires areyou using on this track?

3.Do you brought it from local hobbyshop or from Internet, and how much?

    4. What is the size? (30mm x 30mm or 50mm x 50mm)

I was think about to buy the Kyosho Track and I will know more about them.

    THANKS!big.gif

the tape should be available in any hardware store. i used hvac aluminum ductwork tape. i’m sure art supply stores might have other sticky back foil.

yes, the crease in teh spoiler sucks but it’s not easy applying a fat surface material to a compound curved object:clown: it loks much better than painting it silver

i think the monsters are far to easily abused. they were ment for indoor tracks and ofcourse everyone runs them all over:smiley2:

thanks to bithed i just finished my first custom mad force body

if your looking for alloy damper mounts anytime.. i highley suggest kyosho as they are far better than gpm (i have both).

    f.y.i.

corespeedway has already developed a timing system using this type of hardware.
    http://www.corespeedway.com/

i’m beta testing it right now and i’m very happy with it. it should be released at a fraction of the cost of the amb-it/ko propo systems.

right now a couple lhs’s are also beta testing it so it should be event friendly as well. i’ve been doing the home track testing so to speak

if you haven’t seen the latest video they released, you should. awsome track, good music and fast cars.

i’ve orderd from drac on a couple occassions. i’ve always received my stuff. drac is well… drac. he can be moody at times but overall he’s a nice guy. you just have to get used to his oddities.
i don’t claim to understand his stance on iwavers but then again, there are other members with similarly confounding viewpoints as well.
