Cool :DuA
Fantastic, gotta love that. Jamie where did the pics come from? Link?
:DuASMP, have a look on ebay too. Some of the BCG sellers have heaps of stuff for sale that they dont list. If you email them to find out, you will get some really good prices.
:)uAMight have to put on the chunky tyres from a Hummer to get some more traction.

:)uAI am yet to get either, but I like both of them.
Godd to see Tomy doing non Japanese cars. Pity the Mini didnt work out.
:)uASounds good, must check out the N-gage.
Then I’ll never get any work done.
:)uAGood stuff ph2t, love the wheel idea, might look good in other colours too.
:)uAOK, more cons….
– dual cell barely fits, very tight lots of chopping needed.
– not able to be fet modded due to reverse ultra low voltage switching, major .
– runs on when out of range, what crap idea this is,:sad:.I think I’ll be using the chassis and body shells, but putting fet modded booster pcbs in them to get the best of both worlds.
:)uAAnd once you are finished you can sweep up and make some chocolate scones, lol.

well done guys, keep up the good work, it all makes for a more varied and interesting forum site.
:DuAOk, hopefully now we can get some things happening.
:)uAProbably not, but because they are new, I dont think you will get them much cheaper at the moment. My guess is in 6 months they will be half the price.
But they are still heaps of fun. Very different to lean into corners, and it is such a tiny cycle.
Toys rule!
:)uAI have seen a reveiw of this little copter on a heli site. They are very basic. It has speed control and left/right but is always flying forward and up, that part is not adjustable.
To turn it you point the nose in a different direction and head forward and up again. I believe they cannot hover. It is the absolute lowest basic model of a r/c heli.
I’m not sure how good they are, I’ve never been hands on with one, but I would probably prefer one that can hover, but they are about $300 more expensive.
If you do buy one, let us know what you think of it.
:)uALeonLi17, they steer by varying the power to each of the motors, and climb and dive using motor power only. I’d be hesitant to buy another one. I’ve seen 2 smashed now and both were near impossible to set up correctly.
:)uAYeah, AU$60 is a bit pricey, but at least they are for sale here, I dont know of anybody else that sells them in Oz.
:)uAShow your Dad how easy and safe it is to purchase stuff via the internet these days, you are missing out on so much good stuff out there if you arent able to buy online.
Goodluck
Let us know your thoughts on the super if you get one.
Not one of my faves.
:)uAAny idea when this might be yet Aaron?
:)uANow that would be a fun show to go to.
:)uAThere you go Jamie / Racer9, do yourself a favour, go for it.
:)uAI have one of those yellow bees. They are tricky to fly as they are ‘over propped’ and wont fly flat, always wanting to climb and stall no matter what the elevator is set at. They are very fast, but that makes them hard to control.
Also they need a dead calm day, absolute dead calm. You can however but spares for them from a mob in South Australia.
I think the $70 planes Trash mentioned are the “Air surfers” biplanes which are quite good fun, but a little under powered. I changed the motors to 2 ‘speed 130’ motors and a 6 x AAA 800mAH NiMH battery pack and the thing flys like a killer and can handle quite windy days. The range is 100m plus.
:)uAMight be worth doing a net search and looking elsewhere.
:)uAI am sure the driving circuits could be improved, but some of them dont really have much scope for improvement in range.
I dont have any of these boats, but we do have an inground pool here, so come summer, there might be an addition or two to the micro collection.
Got my eye on a sub too.
:)uANo problem Jeff, I am interested to hear (and see) the result.
