I’m in, Aaron put me down for 20, I’ll be in touch with you shortly.

C’mon guys, lots of you have said in the past that you would be happy to put in for the service (and fun, info, etc.) that you get from this site, well nows the time to show your true colours.
The site needs us, THE MEMBERS, to put in a bit to get it up and running the way it should be.
Aaron is obviously doing HEAPS in his own time, and with his own funds, to keep this going for all of us to use at our whim. What a great guy!!!! How about we chip in and give him a hand so he can get this site running the way it should be.
We are all sick and tired of the timeouts, well we have the power to contribute to make a difference and put this site onto a decent server where it belongs.
So c’mon all of you, it doesnt have to be a lot, just something to show how you feel about the site and Aaron’s efforts over the last couple of years.
I’d really like to see all the members with, say, 500 posts or more put in a decent donation (but not just them, everybody!), just to give a little bit back for the efforts that have made the site what it is today.

So what do you say, how about we show our support and chip in !!
Aaron, put me down for 50 instead.

Yeah I’ve got both of them, unfortunatly they have that annoying thing happening where they keep on going once they get out of range.
Nice detail in those cars though.

Aaron, this is good to see, it will be interesting to see what you have come up with.
    Count me in too.
If you build it, they will come.

The motherboard wire will probably have to be tied ‘low’ to 0 volts, or to a 5v ‘high’.
Ph2t will proably know, or else I am sure there is a comp tech somewhere on these forums.

Jamie, “molex” connectors are those white nylon connectors you see everywhere in computers and auto wiring looms.

Is that a 3 channel, or one of those BS twin motor pushers that are impossible to fly?

    Good one, thanks Kero.
I’m looking for a cheap, complete, plane setup to get back into park flying this summer.
I think this might be on the list.

Just wondering Kero, are they hard to fly? You look to have pretty good control, can you do a short reveiw of the Aerobird Extreme for us?

Sounds a bit dissapointing, but on a par with what I have read elsewhere.
I was interested in picking up one of these while Big W (or is it Kmart) has them on special, but I think I might hold off, or not even bother.
If I had people around me saying “these things are fantastic !!!” I’d rush out and buy one, but its just not the case.

Merely extra grounding to reduce RF interference (sp?) and extend the range.

Kevsta 140 $US is equiv to about $200 Australian
    Better off at Myers.
PDAs usually have an accessible IR port, so anuthing that is IR controlled can be controlled by a PDA if you can write a program for it.

Might be a faulty component in there. You might just have to tolerate charging it on another controller and then running it with that one.

Their batteries are in their feet, so the weight is down low. They dont fall over walking with their arms fully extended.
I know some humans that cant do that. 🙂
