“Disco Remoto sta arrivando.”
Without pics my BS meter is going crazy, even with pics, I’d still have to see a video to prove it can fly.
Reading your posts, it seems you have no idea what makes a heli fly, beyond a big rotor. There are way too many impossible and improbably statements to point them all out.
Quote:did you know the guy who invented the helicopter when asked why did you do it his answer was “nobody told me I couldn’t?” I love that mottoda Vinci? If not him then no one ‘invented’ the helicopter. I the first heli was the Fairey Rotordyne, and certainly not the work of one man.

I’ve got two on the way to see if I can sort out the steering problems.
A lot of people in the US are really disapointed with them and they are moving up to ‘real’ micros, at long last.
I only chipped in $7 for the two, otherwise I wouldn’t have bought any.
Epoch, Epoch, Epoch 😀
Neither are Digi-Q/ iRacer bikes. Not sure why they don’t use a new name.
I’ve got connections. Regular folk can buy them off eBay US.
Thanks for the comments.
Here are some pics, not quite finished, but oh well.

Too lazy to re-post here.

They’re Bit bodies, register your interest here:

I may get extras to re sell here at Ausmicro.
Target too $29.95. Holdens for $20.
Char-A aka Leyu Precious, the best clone out there, save for the Lancer WRC and Mini’s you can get from Toyworld AU, but they have hard wired motors.
For my money, since I can re-do the paint on the bodies, there’s nothing wrong with Leyu clones.
Tomy make the worst motors and controllers IMO.
froggy, I spend most of my time at microrccenter.com I’ve posted a lot of info on body mods and scratch building there. Have a look around.
If Tandy bring the Zip to Oz, then I’ll consider selling the BA and it would be easy enough to do a sedan as well. Tall ride height aside, the longer chassis suits the big Aussie cars better than Bits, especially the ute if you want any usable load space. You could stretch a Bit chassis to fit under the BA too, and it solves the oversized front wheel problem (sits nice and low at the front). I think I’ll be doing this for my car.
Other AU cars? Maybe. I could see myself doing a Torana hatch or E49 Charger for the Bit chassis. On the whole, I’m moving my projects to a much more scale look. Starting with a scale body then modding the chassis to match.
If I did sell bodies, they’d be about AU$20 unpainted. I don’t anticipate much demand at that price. We’ve got a group buy going at microrccenter.com for clear ’57 Chev bodies. You would think that Americans would snap them up, but so far we’ve only got three interested parties (me being one of them).
Buy a real R/C car, and just buy the body separate. You’ll be glad you did. Get a Tamiya, Assoc, Losi or Yokomo. Kyosho only if you can get parts.
I ll have my ute, a new version of my Beetle RSi, a ’40 Ford Pick up and a few other ‘never seen before’ cars in the contest, once I get my printer working for those Ausmicro logos.
Now, if I could enter 1/64 trucks… :smiley16:

There was a 75 Series SWB Landcruier some time ago, as well as Bensu’s Isuzu.
It’s actually finished. I plan on debuting it in show us your bits, but I can’t get my printer working to print out those cards…
It’s a custom mixed pearl orange that was inspired by a recent GT ad in Wheels. I got the stripe kit too 🙂
I’m not really happy with it, but don’t much feel like re-doing it. Zips don’t handle very well.
Looks to me like you sprayed on the paint too lightly (overspray), you need to lay down enough paint for the solvents to work into the previous layer.
We run Minis in the same class, be they 2 or 4wd. I love my HPI Mini Pro, and am considering one of these, but I hate running fullsize rims (ever see a Mini Cooper on 20’s?), I suspect there isn’t clearance for smaller rims.
Quote:weight limit is 20kg and excess and some of that is my clothes etc.Just put them all on:D
It’s clearly a four door.
Looks like a Peugeot 406 to me, tail lights scream ‘406’.
The movie is a french film where a taxi driver has a 406 that turns from stock taxi to kitted out race car at the touch of a button.

It’s not propo. Nor is it 1/50 scale.
Man, you guys have it all wrong. The more the merrier.
You never know. I decided to take this one closer to reality with correctly profiled sides, added side skirts to get rid of some of that air under the car, so I haven’t even done this one yet 🙁
All the GM V series speedos are my favs. but LRP’s electronic water protection is a nice feature.
It’s a copy of an old Losi (XX I think), so it’s fast and tough, plus you can get parts from either Losi or Duratrax.
