Quote:Question, …..
Ph2t does the super glue “cure” the blutack and make it go hard, or does it dry in a skin over the top, and stays soft inside? The glue coats the bluetac and creates a solid outer shell. It might permeate the skin of the bluetac a bit, but not much I’d say. For longer extensions I’ve been laying coiled sections down one at a time. The buildup of glue as I lay each section down helps in holding it all together. I want to let it cure for a few days just to be sure before sanding down again.

I want a tank that shoots sh1t too!!! PM me, PM me!!! :p

nice collection there dude. You need to put them in your ausmicro members gallery and then you can link them into the thread here :smiley2:

thanks dude, I had accomplished more than what I showed you last night…
ph2t.
thanks for the comments guys..:)
unfortunately I have stuck my fingers a few times today, ouch!
I’ve added some more blu-tac onto the shell, check the clearance now, yeah!

I don’t think white glue would cut it dude. The superglue is a plastic cement so it produces a hard exterior which sands well.

what’s this? you have a link man to where you can get these machines?
ta,

Sorry, fellas. Missed this thread originally.
Here’s the link to the spring mod:
If you want I can send you some prepped springs or just give you some tapes and you can mod the springs to your own specs..

Yeah, it depends on how the web site is setup. A lot of web hosting companies use only one actuall web server for many different clients/domains, eg: http://www.blah.com, http://www.quijibo.com, http://www.sillybuggers.com could all be different websites but they are on the one physical box. If this is the case then setting the local web time per server can be tricky. I’ve had some experience on this in my job as a network admin.

’cause the states have gone back an hour as well. As part of the company I work for we have our parent company in the states, in discussions with them last week they told us that their DST was going back an hour on the weekend. I believe that ausmicro.com is co-located in the US so this would be why this is happening.. 🙂

I got the of top referrer list, I wonder htf that happened! Must be some bitpimps saying hey!

You should graph that micro so bithed knows when the push to the kiddies!
A few thoughts:
Don’t bend the @#$%^ pins!!
Make sure the rear wheels are centred when re-doing the axle hole or it’s game over from too much wobbling.
Make sure you balance the width of the rear wheels so they don’t look lop-sided!
Otherwise, goodluck!

OTP, that’s true man for the pattern, I need to sort out the duty cycle on the pulse so it comes off as 10% duty = lights on and 90% duty = lights off. This would get the best strobe.
Also with cop cars having four lights you are correct also. This is part of my plan for this design and I was going to work on this component tonight. If you have seen the cop cars the two on the roof alternate and strobe. The two mounted on the front grill just alternate and not strobe. Again, I’m designing the circuit to suit this pattern.
I’m also trying to design a latch circuit (possibly using some D-latch flip flops) that can turn on any custom mod I have (lights, kitt lights, cop lights, etc..) by pressing the fwd button twice quickly in a predetermined timeframe.
Coolies,

No more smart comments, people will be banned all over the place, a warning meter will be put on everyboby’s posts, and any guff toward the moderators will not be tolerated. From now on, three strikes and you’re out, I’ve got a few scores to settle, for example…
Spelling mistkaes and you’re banned!
SMS speak and you’re banned!
Incorrect punctuation and you’re banned!
Short posts, like “Yeah I know…” , get out!!! you’re banned
And then there’s …..
*MicroAmps turns blue and falls over*
:sad:uANo more smart comments? We’ll I might as well leave right now…

I’m thinking either a gloria or wrx shell, seeing that there are wrx cop cars in VIC state…
ph2t.
possibly dude, a long way to go yet…..
So that’s how all the moderators got their fet modded cars….hmmmmm……
:p:p:p

Very good. The circuit has a lower component count than the Knight Rider lights so it won’t be a problem. I’ll post the schematic soon (still drawing it). Once that is done and I’ve finalised the components I will start on the pcb track layout. All surface mount of course! :approve:
ph2t.
Wow dude, that’s freakin mad!:p
That’s cool.
Awww, c’mon dude, at least enter the supra with a decal on it at least, lol….
ph2t.
Hey Ads, I believe it could still be done man. The circuit allows for batteries to be put in series and the delta-peak changes to account for that. From what I got from the datasheets anyway. The issues are that all the car’s batts would need the same mAh rating and you need to be able to switch the IC’s sensing to account for 2, 3, 4 cells/cars and so on.
