im still waiting on parts for my Z, cant give a location yet, cause i need my car to test drive before i send you guys there, so if you know of a place to race you might wanna speak up 🙂
ill have a look about the uni, see if there is any spots worthy of racing. will let you know by friday where to go, and if i can make it.
im still waiting on some cambered knuckles, my stock ones are broken.
will update as soon as it cools down enough to check out the Uni. Being a postie im already melted in this heat.
good job, post picture when finished
hey, soon there will be a PS2 version out that has the tracks from ver.1, ver.2 and some new ones! It will also have new cars.
Now we just have to hope that it comes out in Aus:Dare you talking about this schematic diagram ?
it’s cool~ how did they get that !?http://tinyrc.com/qfm/racing/dls/tx_schem.jpg
http://tinyrc.com/qfm/racing/download.htmand i think mod-ing the Rx is not that easy
i heard that they use different chips (the area covered by the black substance) in the newer modelEdited by – nsx on 20 January 2003 17:09:39
Quote:Oh, I saw something on the web about the 1m tall Zaku-II. It shoots bb pellets as well right?yes, u can remote control it to shoot your cat/dog when it try to bites your BCG 😀
Quote:For steering, If the coils can be fitted into the body a long with a metal weight or a magnetic weight (like a pendulum or something) Set the coils up vertical to the ground, and hang the weight between them, by activating the coils, the weight would move to one side, and if this changes the balance enough, the robot would probably start moving towards that side. (Maybe)thanks for your idea, it’s great~
now, i’m thinking of connecting a second motor to the steering part, so that it can be used to rotate the head or one of the arm
but i’m not sure whether the voltage/current is large enough :question:Quote:Oh, I saw something on the web about the 1m tall Zaku-II. It shoots bb pellets as well right?yes, u can remote control it to shoot your cat/dog when it try to bites your BCG 😀

sounds good to me.
Paul (member of “Team IMB”)
that could work, cause ill be riding my motobike to any meet
How does newtown or sydney uni sound for a place to race. i will check it out for carparks, netball or basketball courts.
The city is about as far as i could go for a z race unless its a huge meet.
For the south side there are a couple of really nice netball courts to race on, just need people and something for the track outline.. (chalk?)
not going to make a PVC track(seen used for carpark racing)yet cause when i buy a flat next year gonna make a home track.
I would like to introduce myself to the 2.4v crew. I first converted my “precious char-a” to a superchar-a. This car has always been faster than my microsizer. (i dunno why) Using the same gearing and motor has made no difference. Then I converted my microsizer to a ‘nitro-sizer’. The microsizer is much easier to control. It runs very straight, though a bit slower than the superchar-a. I added a spoiler from a fast and furious zip zap to my sizer’s honda s2000 body to take away from the battery’s ugly. First off, I can’t hardly keep the front wheels of the subaru impreza (char-a) on the ground. I clocked the simulated quarter-mile time at 4seconds. (for drag-racers, that’s faster than ‘top fuel’) very impressive but hard to handle. I have experimented with all kinds of motors from 1.0 to 3.8 with the dual cell set-up, and settled on a medium gearing with a generic 3.0’ish motor. These motors have an orange’ish-pink end. The torque is amazing.
With a lil modifacation:smiley2: ill have some pics up somtime this weekend of my motorworks truck, two shen clones, celeca clone and dropped bit accord wagon. i have to finish painting the truck and swapping the front wheels with large ones.
Jack of all trades. Master of nothing!!

i have the MZR dry race bearings, (7 in a set. as the wheel oposite the diff is locked to the axle, thus no bearing required.) front wheel spins for 20 odd seconds witth a flick of the finger, so smooth so quite, you cant go wrong.
i also have the ceramic diff balls for Ball bearing diffs, and it makes your diff heaps smoother, (will not work with stock diff) and faster.
should be one of the first upgrades you do.yah i got a .15 nitro rustler 1/10 scale and i got that drifting on dirt and street anytime i want. i would like to see the mini zracers drift too im actually thinking about getting one but bit char-gs are addicting
Until you find something worth dying for, there’s nothing worth living for….

WCR is at the Scout Hall in King Steet Sandy Bay. Opposite Woolies, up an alley near the Pizza Shop and it’s from 7:30 til whenever but we are trying to have a seperate night for Bits.
It’d be friggin wicked if u brought the track up Dave as the guys who race 1/24th scale would really like to see it as would I.
can i get the 6 spokes?
haha yah i felt kinda retarded about that, but im where the action is now. ive been trying to get my car to somewhat drift for like 3 hours and ive been using different types of tire combos but no luck just lots of constant spinning out and uncontrolled driving ive gottem some sort of drifting action but it can never get it to follow though or eaven engage. i whanna see what one of these look like when actually drifting but ive had no luck with finding vid clips ill keep looking though.
