Until you find something worth dying for, there’s nothing worth living for….
I agree with lazboy they should make more special packs just contain the body shells with/without chassis.

http://www.projectskyline.tkDo Not Touch antenna’s together (TX & RX) or you Will Fry Your Pcb.
Do Not allow Antenna to touch Engine, Alloy Engine pods, or roll shocks. (same reason)
Insulated Atenna Is the way to go.
Only just found this place, ive spent all my time at MZR forums, im in mascot, with a GT3(battered)Ch5, and more than happy to find some races in sydney.
i have few hop ups for handling, more on the way including fets for turbo modding.
Hope to see you at the track.
Quote:I was wondering if the motor was shorted when not pressing forward or reverse, which would make the motor stop really quickly…The motor is definately not shorted.
A couple of my char-g’s free wheel a bit better than the other’s.
It can depend on how freely the gears rotate.http://www.users.bigpond.com/sandrashane/char-g/compact.html
Quote:WD40 makes everytning sticxk to it, accumulates ALOT of dust and debirs, use some graphite LubeI have 5 compact char-g’s so all came with the 2.2 motor.
One of them has slowed up a lot, making it more like a 1.0 motor.
Initially no problems, but after 25 to 30 charges it’s a lot slower.
The other characteristic that makes it seem like a 1.0 motor is that it will last for ages on a single charge.
I fitted a 2.6 the other day which is great 😀http://www.users.bigpond.com/sandrashane/char-g/compact.html
Barrelll
Can we preform oral pleasure on each other?
hum..y do yall want quick breaking…i hate it..i want me to slow down nice and gently…does any1 kno how to do this?
my bad didnt know there was a new one :smiley5:thnx ill prolly just try that out anyways ill start posting the topics on the other forum thnx again.
I think the close being sold in Market City (ground floor and not Paddys) were $30.00 each and they had Thunderbird on it or something like that…
Aesch 🙂
didnt the a-team van have a red fin going accross the top?
Jack of all trades. Master of nothing!!
ok kewl. I’d definatly pay 50c for a race around your track Dave, it’s awesome. Currently we don’t charge at WCR but when we more to another night we might have to charge for club membership so we can pay for power and stuff but it wouldnt be much (about $2-$5 per night) but it’s definatly worth it. Barrell and I raced last night and the current lap record is 38.01 seconds with 2.2 motors.
What you could do is charge 50c per race and then the winner gets his/her money back. What motors do u use on your track Dave?
Quote:Hrmm… Reverse current should spin the motor backward, but because the robot is designed to walk forward, spinning the motor backward does not necessarily mean that the robot will walk backwards…Is there any info on the web about these things? What is it actually called?
i’ve tried to force it walk backward while the capacitor is still being charging up ; )
the story of the microbot series starts here:
Bandai first released their limited edition R/C Zaku-II in the Gundam Exhibition
it’s about 1M tall, it has a camera on its head and a LCD on the remote controller (click here for the video)
more interesting, it was sold out within that expo in the price of over US$1000 !for pleasing the Gundam fans, Bandai released the 100mm microbots (http://matrixcollectibles.site.yahoo.net/microbotseries.html)
of course…. it walks only, and the web cam was replaced by an LED….i know it’s a bit off topic… but this really inspired me on constructing the first BitChar-Z (“Z” for Zaku : )
the BitChar-Plane is also from impossible to possible, right !?Quote:Hrmm… Reverse current should spin the motor backward, but because the robot is designed to walk forward, spinning the motor backward does not necessarily mean that the robot will walk backwards…Is there any info on the web about these things? hi, Impreza,
the idea sounds great~
but i haven’t got the $$$ to buy that expensive model yet…
here is the best photo showing the internal parts that i can find so far, and i heard that it uses rear steering by supplying higher power to one of the wheels (actually how can it be done ???)
anyone kind enough to tell me more about this new bit ?
btw, is there any new feature (i mean the chasis and circuit) in these new truck bits ?

Char-geer: I just modded my fit-facer last night to have replaceable motors. However I had a spare care for parts. The only part you really need is a tab for the back of the motor. I simply cut the wires leading to the motor and then sodered the blue wire to the center tab (one that touches the side of the motor). Using a back tab out of another car I removed the gear rod and inserted the tab, soddered the red to it and replaced the rod.
I actually have to fit racers, the second i modified a small peice of metal to fit snuggly in the engine compartment and soddered the red to it. Both work ok now. Unfortunately i lost the compression plastic peice that holds the tab in. Which means that my motor must be placed in the compartment exactly!
Good luck with yours.
Hay Shypo, I found a 206 clone in Sydney, chinatown for about $30. Can’t remember what brand clone it is, but I will check tomorrow, and yes it does have the cheap decal but they look like thay could be removed.
humm GTI 206…….:smiley4:
Hey Dave, when can we have a race on your track, it looks awesome!!
We will be holding races at Western Creek Raceway every week so u should come and check it out.
Quote:Hi nsx,How does the robot walk? Does it have rollers on the bottom of the feet and just skates along? or do the knees bend and lift with every step?
Also is it remote controlled? Or does it just keep moving forward?
Hi, Crom,
it doesn’t have rollers on the feet
instead, there’re soft plastics to increase the friction,
so that it can walk step by step !the grey box on the right is actually a charger with 2 AA size battery inside (i think it can be reused to charge up the BCG battery)
the microrobot walks in the forward direction only, but if i apply a reverse current from the BCG receiver, the motor should spin backward, right !?
anyways, thx for ur reply : )

I have 2 cars already. One from Frenetic, which is a 57 chev and is great, and one from myer, which has Novatoy THOR written on it and it has really crap steering. I paid $30 for the one from Frenetic and $60 for the one from Myer. The crap one from myer has a turbo button that does nothing.
How much for the Radicans Aaron?
rthat’s ok, I just bought one from KMART then replaced the contoller with the stuffed up one and took it back. HEHEHEHE. KMART have heeps more and they are selling them for $40.
