Might as well add the info here, instead of starting another thread..

I fixed the steering twitchin on an Iwaver 02m which got worse when i installed the spider turbo and the plasmatomic motor (too much drain)..

my fix: i soldered a 102 cap between the pos and neg on legs that the plug goes on for the servo.

solved my twitching problems for good, now shes controlable. 😀

Cheers Aaron for the pdf link, had a gander last night and the board looked very similar to Kyosho MR01/MR02/Overland/Monster. So with that and the generic instructions, got it installed, but coundnt test as i only had flat batteries.. :gatlin: just need some 103 caps and i’ll drop in the plasmatomic motor n get it on the track. :approve:

Thanks hakhawk for addin the info 🙂

Hi Guys, I thought this is probably the best place to let you know about racing in Bendigo this Thursday night (Oct 18) in the function room of the Bendigo Baptist Church. We run 01 and 02 cars with a range of speed and skill level. We have lots of fun, others are welcome to join us, send me a message.

    :worship:

But if it’s the retailer I mean, it would cost a lot (and with shipping costs to France  )

But I searched G10, what is that for material??? I find some Website who talk about eletronic and G10 in the structure but that doesn’t advance me

And don’t you think to make it with carbon?

    Hi Berni
Just finished my MR02 AD Band with 3×2 with Atomic T2 motor. It is faster
than the one has 3×2 (4562 Fet). It has very smooth in between speed control
not like the one with 4562 Fet.
Do you still have the Fets? I need some more for another AD Band AWD and
some AM PCB and also need some for spares. I’m looking for 20 Fets. Thank
    you.

    Best regards,
    Wing

so he ORDERED 20 MORE!! (10 in June, 20 this month=30 TOTAL)

Thanks for the detailed pics! Are those side springs oil fillable? I’m wondering if that type of rear suspension is gonna be any good. I know they weren’t for the that great for the mr-02s

I’m still confused on how well the rear suspension tuning will work on the 02m. does that bottom chassis plate allow the rear end to have up and down movement? Any chance of you testing the car on an RCP track?

Hey Man thanks for the help!

I was looking in the wrong place. The install instructions used to be in the section where the spiders were sold. If I would have just looked at the top of this thread your awesome install notes were CLEARLY visible.

New to this forum and just a dumb noob error.

Thanks for not flaming and steering me in the right direction!

One question though. The old instructions made it seem that it was extremely critical to connect the spider power lines directly to the battery terminals. From my knowledge of electronics there really should not be any loss routing power your way. Have you noticed anything using your method?

    Thanks!

    NC out

    @ rcs2die4

I have installed several Spider2s on AWDs and cannot figure out how you are running the motor wires from the Spider. It looks like they are connected to the orginal Mini-Z PCB. I have always run the Motor wires from the Spider to the motor using a quick disconnect. Also, how are you are running the power wires to the Spider. I have always soldered them to the power clips from the chassis. Are you just screwing them in with the original chassis to PCB gang under the PCB?

    Thanks!

thanks for the tutorial! Also about step 6 for the motor wires, what did you use to scrape off the green stuff? Is it possible to get a good connection without scraping it and soldering the wire across all of those previous fet pads?
