i think it sux!:D ……. cos it’s not near me! great work there, good for those rainy sundays:8ball:
z beam is wrong. drugs are illegal down here so nobody does em:8ball:
i was gonna suck it dry!!:shock::8ball:
the alloy pinions don’t trash the spur gear. it’s the pinions that seem to wear quickest, that’s why i tried the alloy:8ball:
AAAAAGGH!!!:shock: that’s the scariest thing posted here ever! until this!:8ball:
http://community.webshots.com/photo/104137037/111638566qHwJKoyeah, whatsup with that? why don’t chicks dig rc? it can’t be because of a macho persona, the most macho thing i’ve seen with rc is my cat catching and chomping on aerials!:question::8ball:
if it goes too fast it’s too hard to manouvre into position. i’d put hotter motors in if i had proportional control. the gearbox can be configured to produce a ratio of 58:1 or 203:1. with the 90t tamiya motors and 58:1 gearing it covers a meter in about 2 seconds, not a speed machine:8ball:
it measures 195mm x 105mm and is 90mm tall (not counting aerials). and i got the camera here:
blow it out ya ahahahaha!!:clown::8ball:
merc is correctumundo!!!!:blush: i forgot the k! just to clarify;
i waver 5.7k ohm
yeah racing 5.07K ohmman, maths is a REALLY bad place for a typo!!:blush::8ball:
lot’s of things could be wrong. i’ve had the same prob, the ball diff definately helps. just check, is the left turning circle tighter than the right? cf h plates can move around a little, check to see if the rear axle is crooked in relation to the chassis. it may even be in the steering, do the wheels turn more one way than the other? does the tierod poke out evenly on both sides when turned? i replaced my servo pot with a yeah racing one and my steering issues vanished! i measured the resistance of both;
i waver 5.7k ohm
yeah racing 5.07k ohm <(i fix now!:blush:)seems that .6k of an ohm made all the difference!:approve:
in the end though, no matter what you do, a car with a side mounted spur gear on the right will always pull left under power due to friction:8ball:

okey dokey joe-bob:approve::8ball:
nelly transformed me from a 97 pound weakling into a 97 pound weakling with a bitchin’ turbo!!:D:8ball:
okey dokey, hello joe:D:8ball:
sweet as brudda!!:smiley2: i’ve made a start already:8ball:
i noticed toyeast sell spare rotors for the fly fairy so that should extend it’s life some. as trash mentioned, i’d rather crash this than a real 4ch one.
i’m wondering, if i move the center of gravity forward will that pitch the whole thing for more forward thrust?:8ball:
no turbo is a solder free install. you’ll need to solder wires to the battery terminals at least. and if you tug at any components or module you’ll rip it out!! why would you wanna tug ya turbo when you can………….:blush::8ball:
looking forward to that one!!:p
ooo, smilies is back!!:clown:
:):evil::8ball:good work! the audio really puts you there!:smiley2::8ball:
i had this prob, but to the right. there’s a trimpot on the pcb towards the front that adjusts the steering bias. be very gentle with this pot as it’s easy to damage. mine gradually got worse to the point where it wouldn’t go straight with all trims fully left. i had to bite the bullet and replace the servo pot which is a huge improvement over the crappy stock one. pricey but….:8ball:
problem could be the rear end. does the left rear wheel sit lower than the right? is the right turning circle tighter than the left?:8ball:
i like the paddle steamer idea! you can even put one of those mini foggers in it!:8ball:
not me, but 1 thing that relates to us all is the aussie dollar. where’s that sucker heading? so many unique curcumstances these days are pulling it all over the shop!!:8ball:
i dunno if mr01 and 02 are the same as far as gears, but on my 01 i’ve used monster pinions, mrs4 and “proper ones. the biggest pinion i could go with the stock motor housing is 11t. monster pinions are a bit shorter than proper ones so they tend to move around as they aren’t holding on to as much motor shaft. i’m currently using an alloy 10t mrs4 pinion and i’m 100% happy with it:8ball:
i think a tazer would be the go!:8ball:
