well looks like ph2t and myself will be there at 1pm. hope to see you all down there!:smiley2::8ball:
cool, sounds like a plan! between ph2t and myself we should be able to rustle up a video and monitor. i can at least bring the green screen so we can watch the action from the side:8ball:
well i know that everyone that drove a mini had a ball! that is unless they died too much on the day! and a digital video cam with video inputs would be great, i’ll be bringing my wireless cam. lemme know what sort of tape it needs and i’ll bring a blank one.
so is it gonna be 11am, sat 15th? suits me perfectly as i’m working on sunday:8ball:i’m using explorer somethingorother and it’s all good so far. graphix like the borders on the index page load layer by layer ie: starts off as a thick blue border then the shaded pipe look:8ball:
i’m with agent 86 on this one. the phrase “put up or shut up” comes to mind.:8ball:
hehe! that’s pretty funny! and check that hit count!!:8ball:
yeah?? really????? wow!! what a coincidence! i’ve managed to make tyres that enable me to drive up walls! how? oh i couldn’t dream of telling anyone. that would be just plain silly now wouldn’t it!
:8ball:i’m all for reality tv, 7 up series, university hospital, documentaries, but contrived reality is piss boring. here’s an idea, DIY big brudda. you’ll need;
1 mirror
5 – 8 total knobheadssimply place the mirror in front of your tv (horizontally for widescreen), sit in front of it and act like teenagers that have the house to themselves for the first time ever. whoopee!!:8ball:
dunno if it’s my end or yours, but i’ve tried uploading pics to the members gallery on a couple of occaisions but no joy. i can edit the text, just the pics that don’t change. this happening to anyone else?:8ball:
wowee!! looking better than i expected! probably best you didn’t start the detail judging by the time you posted!!!:8ball:
sorry to hear of the loss! but like p said, it’s better to kill it like that than have it sieze from lack of use!!:8ball:
nice work! hopefully it don’t take too long to get the sand out!:8ball:
bit of a hiccup there, but seems to be working now. ooo, pretty cursor!:8ball:
yeah, alright porky! you da man!! i was yakking with ph when he mentioned ir lights. so i grabbed the remote and there she was, flickering away!
my one is rated to 3 lux, it sorta dies a bit before my eyesight :8ball:Edited by – betty.k on 05 May 2004 23:32:54
bloody typical greek! just pump it fulla silicone!!!:D:8ball:
:evil:i discovered a nifty feature of this camera that triples it’s cool factor.
it picks up infra red!!:8ball:let’s just say there’s one less steering/servo case in the world today!!blackeye::dead::D:smiley2::8ball:
just a thought, the barriers need to be the loudest most noticable colour you can find. you only ever see the track boundaries in your peripheral vision. i’m only talking from the perspective of about an hours track time ever, but it was the first problem i had on one:8ball:
well, i dunno what ya call it, but i’ll have what that bloke over there’s having!!blackeye: i gotta have it! huh! wanna jump back! huh! wanna kiss myself!! HHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!:D
best vid to date man!! and folks, you don’t get to see it really wind up due to the lack of space!!:p:8ball:i’m in:8ball:
i’ve been strapping that cam to anything that moves! a friend of mine, chook lent me his old (15 years old!!) nikko buggy for a while so i’ve been giving it hell around the yard from the comfort of my bedroom! really handy for checking to see if the mail’s arrived and chasing the cats around!!
and here’s the ol’ apple monitor i dragged out to use with this system, just like night vision!!
more stuff here http://www.geocities.com/bettyk3332003/galleryrccam.htmlso far i’m getting an hour out of the camera with fresh batts as it only draws about 70ma, it’s the rx that seems to drain the batts quicker. but now i’ve got the regulator set up it’s fine. i’ll get some sort of rechargable batt for the cam. either a 9v or a bunch of 1/4 AAA’s.
all in all, a great toy. one of the best rc accesories i’ve bought so far!!!:8ball:Edited by – betty.k on 02 May 2004 22:43:48
:blush:shucks!

Quote:These motors are tiny and any imbalance is likely to be equally tiny.what’s this?!! otp saying near enough is good enough?!!!!!!!!! glad we got that on record!:D:8ball:
out of the box with no mods the sbcg is the winner. if you plan on fiddling with the electrics then bcg is the fave. all bcg, sbcg parts are compatible. and if you start buying clones you can have 6 frequencies :8ball:
good work man! that’s the most evil car i’ve seen! from top to toe, that ride owns!!!!!:smiley16::8ball:
