number three here!! Only ’cause it got posted to my work…:smiley2:
first not counting Aaron & Kitty, that is…
oh, first wearing da shirt!! V.cool, big smiles and thumbs up to Aaron, Kitty and co…:smiley16::D
mine should be here in about an hour… oh, Kitty you have an email
I should have my Castrol Pitwork by then, and i’ll be there… should’nt be a problem if you want a hoon…
The netball courts are at the end of Adelaide Street, off Victoria Rd. From the city, the second left after the Macca’s in West Ryde. At the VERY end of Adelaide St( down the hill past the roundabout!!!) there is a carpark, next to that, r.c. heaven!!:smiley2:
very nice deal, think i saw it last week. Need to restrain myself…blackeye:
and may i add my cheers to Aaron and co. for a top notch site!!:D
you talking indoor or outdoor Shypo?? Outdoor is dictated by weather, but Meadowbank park has a MASSIVE netball court, rubberised surface, about 100 square metres. A haven for Tamiya most weekends… Just a option. No cost except travel.
i actually got myself a Palm Runner on the weekend (they had z’s, but Bits take up the larger chunk of my spare time (and spare cash!!)), according to the instructions the wheels, tyres and motor( back of the box advertises a x-speed hop-up for the Palm) are the only parts interchangeable between the two.
im still in Ryde, still keen to travel for a hoon…
im here most weekdays, and occasionally on weekends…
that AMG at the top has me dribbling on the keyboard… very pretty in black, me thinks. Now to locate one.:D
Them’s the ones, Jamie. And yes, they are about ten or so years old, not the five i thought…
they look like the one and the same, ‘cept for the name. Same slot on the back to put coins in for tricks tho. Funny, i thought they were penny racers too.
ah, Cyclonas… these clones were the first non Tomy car i’d gotten, though the asking price around my way for them is $25 – $30! $12 is a heaps better price, might get a couple for my nephew for his b-day…
Gotta agree with you too, ‘Amps, only been into these 6-8 months but hey, finances are shot to hell, and i havent had this little social life since Final Fantasy 7 came out on PS1!!! AND I DONT CARE:D:smiley2:ph2t, yes, 49 mhz is a Microsizer, but the 45mhz is a Bit, not a clone. Some clones do use that freq. tho
i have a Fairlady booster, and that goes well with the 27s, its the 57MHz Rex that has the issues… might take microamps advice and do some surgery tonight… i think i’ll look at the guts of that Rex first. I think it might be that car with the wrong freq. number
thats nuts!! What sort of size we lookin at here?? Im guessing 3 1/2inches… the weight of the die cast shell would slow it up abit, though it would have momentum on its side…
PandaBear, you have a PM…:smiley2:Neither of the cars are clones, the Compact Char-G is 5-6 months old, and the Bit Char-G is less than 2 weeks old… yes both are Tomy. Funny thing is all other cars work well together, even the 35/40/45MHz mix!!
ooohh eeerr, my wallet feels heavy again:sad:
up to twelve now, with three more on the way… that be fifteen, counting Compacts/Bits only. Shells somewhere in the order of 25 all up.:approve:
Clones push my count up into the realms of insanity…:blush:i’ve never seen these lxx sets in Aus, anyone wanna shed some light?? Or am I just not looking hard enough?
found my Z is quicker with the stock 2.2 than with any of my quicker motors i put in… have’nt tried the 3.0 yet tho
yeah thats a pretty funky set of wheels…
