Thats a monster frog!!
🙂 uAOnya Panda, I was thinking of doing one of these as well, oh well, guess you beat me to it.
I’d like see some feedback from newbies as well, so why not give us your thoughts.
:)uALooks good Ph2t, nice extra function on the light too.
Dont go over 3 cells, the pcb doesnt like it. If you do you will need to do a few power supply mods to protect the pcb from the 4.8v
🙂 uAI think you might find that the steel casing will deflect the external magnetism, and it wont make that much difference. The micro motors are coreless and the magnet is cylindrical and on the inside of the windings.

172 bids in 5 days, with 5 days to go, and 159,000 views since the start, something doesnt look right with that auction.
🙂 uAI’m sure shes watching…..and knows better than to get into this one.
uAAh yes, the old BS series 9.0 motors.
Another fine product from BK BS industries.

😉 uAFebruary 16, 2004 at 10:43 pm in reply to: “Build RC Car” Mag (or what else we’d buy with $$) #36865And the Commodore would probably take more than 45 magazine issues to put together as well, lol.
(Damn, where have the smileys gone?)
🙂 uAWell there’s certainly no pulling the wool over these guys eyes, hey B.K.? ;~)
Well done on the 9.0 motors, I am using the same supplier as you for those superconductor magnets, just amazing.
Very nice result on the hummer to btw.

😉 uAFebruary 13, 2004 at 10:48 am in reply to: “Build RC Car” Mag (or what else we’d buy with $$) #36990Yeah, I saw it in the shop, the first edition has 1 wheel and a few extra parts, so its going to be a long road to getting a finished car.
🙂 uALooks like we’re not completely back yet.
Whilst the http://…../mihe address is working, the main Ausmicro.com is still going to ‘down.asp’ so we arent up and running full yet.
Hopefully soon.
A couple of people have been posting though.
🙂 uAI’ve got one in for some mods at the moment, and I gotta say, I like them.
:)uASorry Panda I missed this thread.
(I am just wondering what happens to the car in the second pic, when the cord on the hairdryer gets pulled out)
Seriously though, I am interested. I have always wondered what kind of speeds a decent brushless powered car could obtain, no doubt there will be one there on the day.
Are you serious about competing?
The 28th is a Saturday which makes it tricky for me, but I sure as hell am interested.
:DuAYeah, you wanna be careful if you go dissin Admin Barto, all kinds of things could happen. :smiley2:
One day Shypo was here, then “blam” gone, just like in an old Batman episode.
:)uA (I fear this will turn in to a Shypo thread)And I hear you have good taste in curtains too KK.
:)uAWell it sounds like its all coming together.
It will be interesting to see how it all turns out.
I have had a sneak peek at the new features, it looks great. I think people will enjoy the changes.
:)uAGood stuff….good luck Aaron, hope it all goes well.
Thanks for letting us know.
:)uAMe and ph2t are catchin you Barto…
:)uAThey sure do look good for mods!
Lotsa room in there.
:)uAThis has always been the case with the Lxx cars because of the exposed RX6C chip.
The super perfection cars are exactly the same pcb. Pity they dont have better range though. The Tomy BCG boosters also have one extra fubction that can be used for something like lights.
Nice demo above Ph2t.
:)uADaveF, there’s a name from the past.
Welcome back.
Where ya been? So much has happened since you were last on. Or have you been lurking?
