Thats a bit harsh bk.
:)uAThanks for letting us know Aaron, I am sure once the transition is done we can look forward to more reliable times ahead.
:)uAThat sounds a little strange, I havent seen any cars doing that before.
:)uAThats a good idea, looking good too.
How does the longer wheel base go for handling?
:)uAYou sound like you are pretty happy with it then twizm?
:)uAVery nice Leon, clean and classy.
:)uAI’ve got a 4B you can buy, only took it out of the box but hasnt really had any use, perfect condition, $25 including postage.
:)uAAs always, nice work Betty.K
:)uAM.B. Ph2t and Betty.K are spot on. The enertec pcb is ok in stock form, but a fet modded 2 speed BCG leaves it for dead.
And the range on a BCG can usually be modded to excede the enertec anyway with crip cap / tuning / aerial mods.
:)uAAhh, lets just keep it all a mystery.
:)uAYeah I think I got a dud cart, either that or it was stuck in reverse. Right from the get-go it lost pace on Ph2t’s but we both ended up lapping most of the other sunday drivers that were there.
Lots of fun had on the day, cant wait to see the vids and pics. The above pic was on our ‘intermission’ break (smoko for some) and we ended up covering the table with BIT related stuff. The go-cart staff came out to see if we were drug dealing and ended up being quite interested in what was going on. Passers by had to watch their step as the micro off-roaders (and a fet modded 350Z) did donuts in the dust.
Days like this are a good way to catch up and put some faces to the names we know from the forums. I can tell you now folks these days are fun and educational, if you see a day like this being organised in your state, get into it and support it. Its a day well spent. The rapid fire conversations didnt stop all day, things were bought and sold, and there is so much to pick up from people because everybody is doing something different with their cars.
10/10 for the day.
:)uAWel I suppose it comes down to the old saying, “You get what you pay for…”
:)uAHachi, whats the silver shell in the last pic?
:)uAYeah, they are not too bad. Two speed, reducing to low speed on corners (like the enertecs), lights, longer charging time, larger capacity cell, longer run times. Range is good, quality is 8/10. Not bad considering the price.
uA:)Yeah, there might be a few things thrown in the boot.
:)uA11 am sounds good, gives us some time to stop and have lunch, then get back into it.
What do you guys think…?:)uA
Nively done Leon, looks heaps better than the original.
That is how they should have come out in the first place.
:)uABetty, where’s the fets????? I didnt think youd be happy only running at half speed :p
Sorry, couldn’t resist, nice work there.
You are getting better and better.
:DuAYep, count me in !!! Just love those go karts….get outa my way Ph2t blackeye:
Can one of you please PM or email me the details as we get closer to the day, thanks.
:)uAYeah there’s a lot of good information there.
:)uAPh2t is your man for this one Maxi.
Ph2t is your man for this one Maxi.
Happy Birthday P.H. make it a big day, you’ll remember this one for the rest of your life.
Try not to throw up too much :p
:)uAI have read a review of them somewhere, they rated about 2 out of 10. They only fly up and forward, you do have some steering control of them but not a great deal. Definitely no hovering.
Helis are tricky to build and control.
Keep in mind (for only $100) you will get what you pay for.
My opinion is either pay 5 times the price and get a reasonable micro heli, or leave the idea alone. I had a look around the helis and ended up buying a dragonfly. Great fun, lots to learn in flying them, but they are pretty strong. I had to continue my flying lessons in the garage because there were too many black marks on the doors and on the fridge inside the house.
:)uAGood thinking guys, these could work.
Keep up the good ideas.
