my brother in law is a manager in newcastle, and his family own and run the maccas in kemsey. every member of that family would have eaten their fair share of “free” food over the years and it damn well shows… my sis has got the husband going for jogs at 5:30 every morning:).
i played chase the rat at the maccas at port maquarie with most of the staff last time i past through (we were desparate for dinner:dead:. that was a laugh.
after watchin that supersize me docco im a bit wary of plastic food. watch it i dare ya! the nugget story is the best bit…
and as for chinese food thats as plastic as it gets! xcept yum-cha because that is fresh, tasty and an awesome xperience…

and some of the greediest retailers in the world… some stores put 300% on the silver we wholesale to them:smiley2:.
i always find it hard to understand how they make more money out of a piece than i do. and they just wait for it to sell!
iwaver 01’s in sydney? whereabouts icebreaka?
those 02’s look promising… but i’ve just got the hang of the 01 chassis and all the spares for them to keep running.

Quote:i want an infa red sight on mine 👿infa-red is invisible/ beyond a humans visual range dude… a laser sight might work a bit better me thinks!
i’ve seen the foam missile firing Multiple Rocket Launch Systems at shops before. if you wanted one of the firing tanks im sure you could get it in no worries, but multiple items might attract unwanted attention…

bonzer, i said some customers! not me though! the idea of extra weight+power= the momentum and handeling properties similar to a real car.
so what is the expected price of these gizmos?
hell yeah mocky! is that for real????
i’ll show you my mess up if you show me yours bithed:smiley2:. me thinks if you went over the lot with more clear blue the exhisting silver will become like the blue you got allready whereas the old blue bits will get darker. and that could look nice.
im determined now to sand back a couple of layers (clear and some transparent purple) untill its smooth and then give another coat of clear. in the sunlight today i gave it a good inspection and i reakon there is to much purple, its making it way to dark.
sound cool but the die cast factor will turn off most customers, they look beautiful tho.
whats the cost and do they have a distributor in australia yet?
dave mate i am stoked with the rims! they are damned near the best looking ones ive seen to suit a classic bodied z. a big thanx again!

AARRRRRGGHHHH!!! the paint work got ruined in the car despite all possible measures to protect it. the roof, the bonnet and one of the rear fenders paint became abraised by the material i was using to protect it inside an autoscale body case. who would have thought a sunglasses cleaning cloth could do that amout of damadge. F#CK!NG HELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
guess i’ll have to sand it ALL back and start again. at least i’ve still got more of the transparent purple left.

they sure do look worth it!
i need some for christmas dammit…
whats the light source inside the car bithed?
great pic as allways betty.the tyres on it look great!
are they solid or hollow(semi pnumatic)?
how come the top pics look like totally different tyres:question:

allright, heres the pics i promised… firstly without a flash/bright light source it looks glossy black:

and now with the flash it looks deep metalic blue:

i was a bit heavy handed with the purple transparency, but it didnt matter how much i layered onto the blue, the metallic flecs stayed more blue than purple. but the transparent purple did increase the deepness of the base colour which gave me the black look of the finish.
next step is to do the lights, install chrome plated parts and finally the windscreens.

thanx panda! those paint jobs are real nice i especially like the chamagne one…

Aaron they make a transparent silver as well as the pearl if your interested… but lavender pearl sounds nice although i would have suggested doing the reverse. i.e using the effect (e.g silver or pearl) and then go over it in the transparent version of the colour your after…
but i’ve never tried out any of there transparent effect paints so im keen to hear how it turns out tho.
as for dust, i never fear! if you saw the gto i did for talldude a couple of weeks back at meadowbank i did that outside with no problems.
some general rules as far as painting environments go is if it is windy youll waste spray and get dust particles in the job, if its wet or way to humid clear coats have come out misty on me rather than clear and i always paint with pre-warmed tamiya sprays. just sit the can in slightly warm water for a couple of minutes before shaking the can up.
could they do with some weight reduction then to get ’em flyin?
how much height are you getting with them? have they beaten your monster bits yet?
i like the modded body betty looks cool, cant see the ford to well tho…
cant wait to see a vid!
