sorry betty, heres the public link. still getting used to the webshots biz…
http://community.webshots.com/photo/116292953/116297940WjPHKT
sure, im not going to get a bit to tranform. but the bits going to look near exact next to the car form.
the varnish is just drying so the pics will be up tonight…
whats with the windscreen? was it cleer to begin with and if so howd you get that sivery look???
with th shell removed hold the chassis by the front assembly making sure you stop one knuckle at a time. spin the secured front wheel and roughly take note of how long it spins freely, repeat for other front wheel.
if there is any difference between them or they both seem a little stiff they might have fluff stuck inside the wheel pin. needle nosed tweezers are the perfect tool for removing that enemy of streight driving and steering balance.
FLUFF,HAIR + DUST.
also twizm ive found the super bcg’s steering to be superior to standard. and the way our dollar is at the mo’ theyre cheaper than buyin a compact.and heres an old pic of my first track showing the pit area:

z’s oppinion: the standard bar is crap, but the soft and medium hopup ones are good with springs, for racing anyways.
also ive said it before and i’ll say it again: afx springs of different lengths can be wound together for variable/harder suspension.
twizm, if you have a knuckle handy, take it to yourlocal locksmith and explain your springy needs, your sure to be suprized.
guys just cos i started a thread doesnt mean its reserved for just my spray jobs!
have a go and post em up!!
by the way im in the process of getting webshots hooked up, and that means my ausmicro gallery wont be a pile of little red x’s.
i meant sister… sorry.
hey dgs, howd yer siter manage nin’s guitar?
sorry dave. i still havent worked out exactly how to get the gallery options workin. damn, that means you’ve never seen my stuff.
i seen your work and u have been an influence and inspiration. i just wish a few more AUSsies would have a go at making tracks.
anyone else have problems seeing my pics?
smoove indeed…
i wish tomy would make a nice van shell, a tarago or somethin to make ambulances and stuff.
i was thinking about a bit with a sound system installed the other day. u could use one of those tiny radio sets and hook it up to small speakers for tunes. dont think it would fit in anything smaller than a Bb or the echo shell i got tho.
thanx betty but i was talkin bout the pantera…
wish tomy would bring out a nissan z history set.
u seen this before guys? the older members would have, this is one of my first bits i ever modded

can some body post a link for the pics, my browser isnt loading the actual pics. thanx.
hey betty, whered you learn that trick?
tap, tap ,tap. its the way to go. as for the block of wood, balsa is the easiest to work with and is quite forgiving on rims. keep a steering magnet handy for retreving the knucle pin.
also one of those kiddy hammers is the go. in fact keep an eye out for any type of minature tool. they do come in handy for this scale of work…..
now if only i could get my hands on a tiny mitre box……
the rx-7 was a test run. the shell already looked shite after two bodged paintjobs, with paint brushes.
as for the wrx, two-pac is the way to go for depth. and betty is that a wish i hear?
send me a pm and i’ll see what i can do.
wrx. metalic purple with tranparent blue tamiya spray. a clear tamiya coat to give it extra shine.

watcha mean by “pack”.
the ones i have made and used in the past stretch for the back rims and fit snug on the front.
happy year of the monkey.
you dont perform in sydney do ya?
about five years ago i was in chinatown (sydney) on the day and it was damn loud, id describe it more like a couple of tinny machine guns rather than a plane crash… anyway the dancers must have dropped a packet outside a jewelry store so i scored a $150 little red envelope. it was good luck allround.
