go visit a games workshop store and ask for some “green stuff”. its a product they put on the market a couple of years back that they had been using in thier studios for the last decade to sculpt all of there 28mm scale figures.
it aint stinky so you can work with it wherever and it has a real nice consistany. you are familiar now with two part puttys and this product is a yellow and blue band that u mix to make green. there is no heating up at the curing “peak” and it can be sanded within an hour. scalpels are great to carve away excess also.

i used to use knead it alot in highschool for nasty projects like knuckledusters (that took 5 tubes!)and other metaldetector proof weponry and it is way to difficult to work, sand and shape for small scale sculpture.

have you used spray paint before twizm? well if you want paper to last and be grippy for bit racing you can use a spray matt varnish and use it normally and give it a bit of splattering by not pressing the button down all the way.

the only way you can tell what i mean is by using a can of crappy spray Paint and trying different pressures to acheive a slight rough surface…

what sort of vehicle and brand is that silver 4×4? i’d love one if you could get an extra…

leonli i think the wheels are electro plated, and that shin just dont come out ofa can , man.

the best paints for bits i reckon are tamiya sprays, little cans for little cars…

personally tho i find white the absolute hardest to touch up. ever tried to colour match a paint pot with a scratched tomy shell???

that compact skyline of mine was a complete bit-ch in the end.

if your shell is scratched, paint a bit of silver on the inside of the shell and outside where the scratch is, bits should be proud of their scars….:smiley2:

tamiya clear pink does give me a few probs as well. i.e. no gloss.

nail polish is way too thick but you can find harlequin paint (colour shift) in nail polish for under $20. thinners????? might work, or paint the inside of the shell hachi. make shore you overcoat the the paint inside with black.

aluminium, is another option. pipeing is avalable wherever hobby train supplies are.

you can fan it out with a small screwdriver.

i’d definatly pay the extra 10 usd for an original tomy. the shell alone is worth it. a working enzo model for under $40 aus is almost unbeleiveable.

sorry micro, the 40c (clone)cannot be controlled with any of my three 57mhz controllers (one of which is the tomy multi freq)
