you guys dont know what yur talkbout! those little mcv’s are on my want list.. the size! the function! the solidarity of a separate charge station. these things will be fun, sure they dont look as detailed nor realistic but think about the fun!
i have a set of rumble robots and the laser tag game is good except they are too big to be able to have decent range. what i mean is that the range of rrobots and the mcv’s is probably the same, the hit sensor the exact size as well, it’s just that it takes NO SKILL AT ALL TO WIN. small tank=lots of hiding spots=more fun hunting.

i’m sold by the “no room for crap” attitude of micro rc designers and so would expect the chinese product thats 10x the size to be filled with loquality parts.

i wasn’t blasting dave, i was just asking him wether or not he has some factual experience regarding the actual ability for a tiny bit to interfere with other equipment, or if he could get some. i sure don’t have access to rf triangulation divices so i have no experience.
the only reason a rf emmiter could become banned (e.g 35, 57mhz bits) is if they actaully tested them in a modern testing environment and the divice NEGATIVELY affected other divices.what i’m asking dave to do is find out wether or not our hobbies are being screwed around because of legalities that are wrong, and commercially unjust.from what i’ve found out via scientific observation is that my “illigal” bits are not evil at all and that the western governments persecute them as if they are a part of the tall-e-ban.they dont interfer with any of my household equipment, on the contrary, the 35mhz bit is like a rf canary…. it lets me know were the signals are, the ones that are there from other things unknown

the standard bit by 2004 should have: dual 1/4 nimh sleeper, suspension, double layered COATED steering wires…….. booster chassis and controllers locally released, thats an idea JNH

shypo: search for a hot wheels car called OVERBORED. the shell of the car has chrome interior from the back detail to the phat engine block/intake. easy to rip open with a pair of clippers. i’ve used the engine block.looks very nice indeed.

as for the import tuners. i know both toyworld and toys r us have them but the problem is shypo that they useally get one tuner in a whole box of dragracers (normal muscle machines). this means that i have only seen three in australia so far (1/64th anyways) i bought a blue r32 skyline, and i have seen a yellow escort and a white subaru wrx.

the johnny lightning cars cost $15-$20. some shops sell them in sets. be care full as some of the cars have SOLID PLASTIC TYRES and should be avoided. unfortunatly some of the coolest rims one of which looks similar to the german alu. fatties are attached to these wastes of moddabbledollas. good way to make sure you got the rubber tyres is they have detail (zig zags) on the tyre surface. most of the rubber ones are painted too.

the johnny lightning cars were in launceston, in a bookshop that sells models upstairs and has warhammer. a magazine says the only place to get gw product is BIRCHALLS and ROBOT BOY. good luck and dont buy all there stock!! there are at least two of you down there

dave, is this dude yur mate still?, if so please have a little experiment! test to see wether or not the 7 odd feet of range of a 35 mhz car is detetectable at even one block. sure i can understand it being ilegal for bigger transmitters but these things simply DONT affect other devices( except am radio) every divice it seems affects them, tv, fridge and even air cond.

i need some facts cos i’m sick of hearing about how theres no difference between a bit and a big rc car…..

forgot to mention the muscle machine “import tuner” wheelset. white mags, 6 spokes with separate rims w/brakepad detail. i’ve seen black and silver hubs as well. easier to find than johnny lightning but for the same price i’d go the JL…
import tuners also have decent chrome exhaust (sporty) and RACING SEATS.

i’ve travelled far and wide but only found jl cars in 5 locations in australia. tassie,western suburbs of sydney (on the same street as tin soldier) and melbourne.

who has webspace!!!!!!!! please shypo as an administrator i must beg of you the room to display my most humble pictures. my Bb is camo witha spare ontha back and fullsize (rear) wheels on the front. i even made aluminium roofracks!

my white skyline has hotswap rims (JL) i’ve got chrome 5 and 6 spoke hubs. hoosier and firestine tires.also got a fullsize set with a red pinstripe (1975 gto). the good thing with hotswaps is that the rims are the same front to back but the tires are different sizes.

I called up jnh australia using the phone line printed on the back of the compacts entitled “customer support”. told em i loved their product and wantede to know more…this is straight from the mangers mouth…
“pull backs, never heard of them but we are releasing 4 new cars, Bb ,celica, rx-7 and (i cant remember) in the 40 and 27mhz freq.”

at this stage i asked them what they thought of the fact that ppl are importing all 4 (6 actually) freq and have been selling these “officially new” cars for over 6 months here in australia. that they didn’t like at all.

what if ppl can import 35,57and 45mhz freq because that law is for divices of a certain size
and bcg is too small to be of any problem…

i personally reckon jnh should either give us pull backs and release a small amount of new cars (cos we dont need 4×40 and 4×27 mhz cars do we) or give toy retailers access to the entire bcg range. if strathfeild could so should jnh… dont waste money getting this stuff from the uk, go streight to the source.. asia..

imagine how cheap a bit would be if it hadn’t been packaged by a british company!

shypo 1:28 works cos it can be divided by many combinations. i used 8 as an example, the flexability is the key. 8 goes 3.5 into 28 anyways……

…..spring suspension should come standard, i’ve broke steering coil wires cos of their flimsy nature.
