dave, is this dude yur mate still?, if so please have a little experiment! test to see wether or not the 7 odd feet of range of a 35 mhz car is detetectable at even one block. sure i can understand it being ilegal for bigger transmitters but these things simply DONT affect other devices( except am radio) every divice it seems affects them, tv, fridge and even air cond.
i need some facts cos i’m sick of hearing about how theres no difference between a bit and a big rc car…..
forgot to mention the muscle machine “import tuner” wheelset. white mags, 6 spokes with separate rims w/brakepad detail. i’ve seen black and silver hubs as well. easier to find than johnny lightning but for the same price i’d go the JL…
import tuners also have decent chrome exhaust (sporty) and RACING SEATS.i’ve travelled far and wide but only found jl cars in 5 locations in australia. tassie,western suburbs of sydney (on the same street as tin soldier) and melbourne.

my white skyline has hotswap rims (JL) i’ve got chrome 5 and 6 spoke hubs. hoosier and firestine tires.also got a fullsize set with a red pinstripe (1975 gto). the good thing with hotswaps is that the rims are the same front to back but the tires are different sizes.

i’ll have a go dave… i have tried interior detail before but it’s no good. that pcb needed too much room. thanx for the idea, i dont know about mass producing them.I called up jnh australia using the phone line printed on the back of the compacts entitled “customer support”. told em i loved their product and wantede to know more…this is straight from the mangers mouth…

what if ppl can import 35,57and 45mhz freq because that law is for divices of a certain size
and bcg is too small to be of any problem…i personally reckon jnh should either give us pull backs and release a small amount of new cars (cos we dont need 4×40 and 4×27 mhz cars do we) or give toy retailers access to the entire bcg range. if strathfeild could so should jnh… dont waste money getting this stuff from the uk, go streight to the source.. asia..

shypo 1:28 works cos it can be divided by many combinations. i used 8 as an example, the flexability is the key. 8 goes 3.5 into 28 anyways……

no actaully i was getting lucky with the cuties in the year below me. the clovers were just a part of spending hours close to nature…..enjoy it while it lasts, hell some of my freinds even did yr.12 over 2 years ‘cos of the “benefits”.

the “loose caboose” syndrome is another factor,on one clone the rear axle is so loose that when u pick it up it drops 3mm! no need for lube! the only prob is the crap clone tyres.
i hate the way my bog standard $30 cyclonas are so much better on the track than my tomy bcg’s, especially when: 1xcompact =$50
1xkit racer (2.6) =$25
1x gearset = $15
1xsuspension kit= $15
1xtireset = $15
1x afx springs =$1
1x nimh cell = $4
total= $125.you would think that a $ 120 bit could kickass but it doesnt mean didlysqaut!

my gf reckons that the only numbers that divide into 70 are 10,5 and 7. shypo count the number of possibilties within 72……….. flexable number isnt it?
is there room in the pull backs for spring suspension and shypo do you reckon that the steering assemly is at all usable/modable?
the dimensions of a compact skyline are not to scale! all bcg cars have deformed features and there for ARE NOT scale models.
the japs use sd all the time, and the u.s doesnt like the “cutesy” look as much as japan. zip zaps are a bit wider and yes they are true 1/64th.
but that doesn’t make bcg’s a different scale shypo, it’s like fat and thin people, there both still humans.out of interest, which tomy shells have 4 doors.
also a ratio of 1/70th is mathematically unsound.what maths did/are you studying.apart from 1/10 cars all other scales ( i thought )are multiples of 8. e.g. 1/16, 1/32, 1/64, 1/72.
