No, We will not be running an E-Bay shop due to the high fees imposed by e-bay. We will be continuing to use e-bay for Auction services from time to time.
We feel our Online Store (http://shop.ausmicro.net) is a better all round effort.

Site Owner Guy.Well… Interesting….
🙂
I guess my question is, If you could place a pre-order and get your colour of choice would you?

Site Owner Guy.What I always thought strange was ESC makers say somethign is good for XX Turns, but knowning the there’s other factors in play the ESC may not handle a brand X 12turn vs a Brand Y 12turn.
I tend to think you’d pick an ESC rating these days by like buying a 14turn friendly ESC and only running down to 16 or 18T… Margin for error 🙂
I’ve always been happy with the low end GM V4Rs but I’m not a mad keen racer, just a hack around typa guy ….

Site Owner Guy.I’d prefer most people placed the Order through the Shop (http://shop.ausmicro.net) with payment as it provides a proper tracking of the order and automagically tallies things up.
Typically I WILL NOT be ordering the PN gear in any other colour except their trademark Orange Colour. Why? Beucase stocking colours triples the quantity I have to carry, and it also makes the parts easier to confuse with less specialised parts.
However IF want a different colour you can get them in this pre-order with pre-payment.
Dave you’re special and counted on the other order system 😉

Site Owner Guy.I do know the brushes are quality – but I can’t give you an exact answer about the motor cases. I’ll do some checking.

Site Owner Guy.Azza,
The turbo will need to have 6 wires (as it does). battery power which should be picked up from the same locations as the stock Rx board does, and 4 signal wires that mount in place of the FETs.Are you removing the stock FETs for the install?
The signal wires could be being mucked around. I suggest taking a look at http://www.whoanelly.com to see how an alternative turbo mounts, and compare it. It may give you a point in the correct direction…

Site Owner Guy.Just to reinforce, When I got back into the office yesterday I found 3 or 4 posts from azza2000, with a website address (http://www.teamadrenaline.net) which is a break of our basic rules.
I PM’d azza2000, and cleared out the messages leaving one in the General Discussion forum. I later got a reply back from azza2000 and as far as I’m concerned there is NO issue between myself, ausmicro.com and azza2000, or TeamAdrenaline.
I did state in another post that I’m not impressed (on a personal level I may add, I’m only human) with the ads and tactics of an ebay seller. This is completely NOT related to this matter.
I am closing this thread, and will ask the Moderators to control any further discussion on this subject as I feel that it’s been blown out of proportion.

Site Owner Guy.Thanks,
Agreed and to be 100% crystal clear on this. There is no war, there will be no war and certainly I will be doing my best to make sure that the idea doesn’t carry on.There is more than enough room in the world for multiple sites.
Our friends at Bit Pimps, Micro RC Center, Tiny RC, AusRC and now TeamAdrenaline are as welcome here as they are on their “home” sites.
My comments are/were only about excessive forum address spamming and not about the forum itself.
Now back to the real stuff.

Site Owner Guy.I sell on e-bay under “aaronmihe” and have no links with “azzachaz” who is simply trading on coat-tails with poorly written ads, stolen images and not much creativity.

Site Owner Guy.We’ll see how the PN stuff goes first Mocky, the amount of cash I have to stump up front on the hope you guys source through me is stupid (it’ll buy about 40kW more power for my 1:1 car) so if this stuff doesn’t move I won’t be running the risk again.

Site Owner Guy.You can also buy a pre-drilled and tapped motor case…. We will also have those 😉

Site Owner Guy.There’s a post on this forum that has all the bearing sizes for all the Kyosho/iWaver stuff… Search is your friend 😉

Site Owner Guy.ausmicro.com Decals will be available from http://shop.ausmicro.net in a few days.

Site Owner Guy.The quick guide is remove PCB from chassis, (leaving wiring connected) de-solder FETs, solder in new stacks…
I haven’t opened an 02 though so I don’t really know the foibles of doing the disaasembly though.

Site Owner Guy.I will be getting in a lot of the iWaver stuff, for the reasons mentioned by quite a few of you on the thread but also over the years. Cheaper quick replacement parts.
As for the shop pricing is always sensitive, I ultimately want to be selling for aroudn the same price as the online sellers when postage etc is factored in, and also like to be able to do some specials on combos of stuff (like the CLK we have going at the moment) ….
Picking up Dealer status with manufacturers is on the cards. In fact we have reached agreement on terms for being a dealer for on of the top brands for Mini-Z parts… More on that later.
At the moment though I’m slowing things down while we move during early Feb with restocking and range expansion planned for March.
Carbon sheet, etc is coming, and you’ll be happy to know we are in serious talks with the makers of some of the big Mini-Z parts companies and a few other companies.

Site Owner Guy.It’s correct, you leave the plastic bushing in the space where the wheel and diff lock together, ie the shaft and wheel are fixed together.

Site Owner Guy.Yup the man is most certainly right 😉 Most wholesalers have dropped carrying the ’01 Readysets becuase they fear they’ll be stuck with them… But in reality the platform will be around and supported for many years. The MR15s will eventually take over as the entry level.

Site Owner Guy.At the moment they won’t be coming any other way except the way they do now.
I’m trying to source a wider range of foams but at the moment we’re very very limited.

Site Owner Guy.I won’t be doing any ‘stock’ until after the Move in about 21 days… then give me a week to gett he office up and running again… Say March 😉
I do have a Alfa Romeo 156GTA in blue coming into stock next week though. It’s a MR-015
Price for that will be $195 plus postage etc

Site Owner Guy.Yep known problem, we have a fix in the works (get on a faster server) but it’s still a little way off.

Site Owner Guy.3×2 is about where it’s at for optimum performance and space efficiency.
I sell them in 10 packs becuase my experiements showed that beyond 5×2 nothing went better when you balanced up the hassle of making stacks bigger.
3×2 can be made to fit anything (little plastic work on iWaver though) and 2×2 has enough punch for a X-speed to be quite a pleasant drive it can’t take the Plasma Dash hybrids 😉

Site Owner Guy.Happy to be of service 😉
I use a 1mm tip at the moment and it’s still too big ! Seriously thinking about splashing out on a new set of tips for my station including the gear to do SMD stuff like whole chips at once!

Site Owner Guy.The MR01 listed is the only stock we have at the moment. I can get stuff to order, but am avoiding bringing more stock until late February as we’re upping and moving.
ausmicro.com is legitimate ABN holding Australian Business based in Canberra, ACT, Australia.
COD, we can do that but it will cost more (you pay Postage + Product + COD Fee) while direct deposit by walking into a local Commonwealth Bank saves you the fees.
More info about our move will be posted shortly.
