roll shocks give you a greater degree of rear tuneability (ie. spring tension, different tension h-plates), whereas the o-plate stiffens up the rear to a degree that gives a little bit of movement, with two choices; stiff, and f**king stiff
Quote:Quote:..i`ve gotta start thinking about making my Z modern day quick. i`m going to have figure out a motor/fet/turbo combo to stay in da race:evil:Yeah, I was surprised that my non-fet/turbo x-speed/bb can combo was just as fast as your external turbo+x-speed setup.
Also, I don’t know why lots of ppl roll Zs – I’ve only rolled my skyline shell once and that was after hitting a decent sized pebble which made it unsettled.
the only reason my fetted chassis rolls so much is because I always seem to try to turn at too greater speed… plus that extra traction from the foam tyres helps alot…
oh, Aaron, now that the GTR’s back at home lets see the pics!! (pushy, eh?:p)
i’m very keen to get quite a few sets of these things, they grip like s**t and the car rolls as silent as… two sets of narrow soft and a set of wide soft, thanks.

how old school do you want to go? I’ve still got a Texas Intruments 99/4A kicking about at my parents… those were the days. Spend half a day+ programming games in Basic (damn i’m old!!)
merc; 2097 is still my favourite of the Wipeouts to this day (ok, so 3 and special ed. were in high res., but so what? And dont get me started on Fusion… where’s Designers Republic? Why did Sony pass it to inexperienced programmers? (I know Fusion came out at the start of PS2’s life, so people were still getting used to the new engine, but come on!) As for the retro side of things (just to drag myself back on topic)- Maximo. Remember Super Ghouls ‘n Ghosts? (I know you do Pete, not asking you…:smiley2:) Dragged into the current technologies quite successfully. Enough of my flappin me gums. I’m off…how old school do you want to go?
