I have noticed that my enertec, at least, doesn’t pulse on 1/2 boost, unlike LXX/TOMY’s. Anyone else??? I have big-assed wheels araldite-ing on to it as I type. Gotta go build a charger now…

I was looking at monsterizing my enertec betty, and i am damned if i know how to charge it after. I have also found that Hot Wheels car wheels kick ass if you just use the standard (hard, plastic, no-tyre) ones, and use those dodgy “pen grip” tyres, end up with the same rolling diameter as the stock rears, all round.

Love the Dunnie Blues in the background.

Man that video is pretty rad. Could you do a breakdown of some of the other common planes, DSE ones etc… (the Mirage perhaps)

ph2t the woman in the background doesn’t look all that impressed. Man, I know what you mean about figuring out whether tyres are rubber or placcy with out opening the toy. Nice work, that is my plan for my scale racer, when Bithed come thru with the merch! Also maybe the best thread name ever!

Nah i haven’t seen tham fly, but i work in the back dock of a large retail store, and my dad owns a big-ass workshop… I got plenty of indoor places for it. Is $80 for one including postage good?… seems kinda steep to me.

I reckon close to $400 including Bit’s/clones, tin racers/hop ups and LXX scale racer & hopups. Just on micros though, only about au$150. But if you take “entertainment” at being $5 an hour, they have paid them selves off admirably!

pork hunt: what the press say about this substance is very different to what experienced scientists say. at least the ones who arnt afraid of popularist backlash.

nearly all of what you learnt at school was once condemned as “radical extremist ideas” and now those who have blown the whistle on dubya (bush) are now beeing harased in the name of the state, freedom and world peace (through absolute submission, silence and oppression)….

thanx betty… realistic about somethings i may be but as you will learn i can be quite off the “normal” point of veiw.

Many experienced scientists said we would never have powered flight, and then in there own life time, saw man land on the moon… Both sides can be wrong. Personally, I’d be as happy using depleted uranium as a fishing sinker, as I would lead (Pb). I believe it to be safe (so long as it isn’t being shot at you).

I use 800 aaa’s from Jaycar, but I haven’t tried anything else (other than e^2’s and they blow), and just cheap and nasties for the remote.

Stupidly fast! Is the easy answer, they will never steer right (understeer due to the rear axle being locked) I have one of these (57 chev) that I took the fast motor out of because it’d drain the AA’s in about 8 minutes. I have seen a picture of one pulling like 36 kays on a Tamiya speed checker. When my Bithed order arrives I’ll Tamiya speedcheck it with a plasma dash in it.

Yeah guys, you might as well chuck “im 14 and heva no speel chequer” on your tagline, you sound like a right bunch of @rseholes. War is NEVER good, blasting crap out of a country (or region as some have suggested) is one of the worst acts imaginable. Genocide is the worst act humans can commit. Osama bin Laden, trained and funded by the CIA during the 80’s to fight the USSR in Afghanistan. The Taliban, instated by the USA after the Afghan War. The best thing the USA could do with the middle-east (Asia, Africa, Sth America, Europe) is stay the hell outta there. A war that has been raging in Eastern Europe for 300 years CAN NOT be resolved in 6 weeks of laser guided, nighttime, carpet-bombing. George Bush proved what a great leader he could be on 11/9/2001, if he never did another thing in his entire political career, his strength and leadership after the suicide bombings would have cemented his place in history. Then to blast a whole country full of people, some of whom literally still live in caves, back to Bedrock, was unforgivable.

I find it is also ironic that America started blowing the crud outta Iraq just 3 days before Hussain was set to sign an accord to sell Iraqi oil in Euros instead of USD a barrel, hence the French and German lack of support, and the UK’s total support. Anyway, go aussie dollar, if this keeps up, I’ll be getting a Monster-Z.

I was kinda paranoid after doing it that I had… But just dismissed it as “First-time Jitters”. Might have to tear the whole thing down again.

Are the wheels (front and rear) the same size as each other, or are they the same sizes as regular Char-g rims (if you get what I mean)???

There are rumours that the Series II BA XR6T will be 280kW and is due in about 12-18 months. The engine is ready and waiting, Ford are just stuffing around trying to get rid of the sh!ty manual and replace it with the GT unit. I read all this in Motor magazine about 2 weeks back.
