that is rather expensive ken! i dont think i could warrant spending $50 aud for a set… i guess ill have to wait and see about the cheaper i-waver alternatives…
whats a set of those tugu rims worth ken, i dont have any japanese skills whatsoever… some of them are very nice indeed!
id like to know how expensive they are in comparison to the i-waver alloy rims for AWD being released.
also, im still very keen to get a part next time you order (the kyosho titanium drive shaft for AWD).
also, apart from kyoshos x-speed for AWD is there any other motors available for the the awd yet? i tried fitting in my pn motor but it seems to be a little to big to fit into the motor bay, and when i compare the motors the awd one seems to be a little slimmer than normal ones…

indeed i did today ken! thanks a heap. the cambered knuckles are great, im getting far better control in my drifts in the kitchen. ill be needing some more power now me thinks to go any further with my awd.
the drift rims are a little to slippery for my tastes, dgs asked me on the phone what they were like compared to the autoscale tires (the sets that come with autoscales) and well, you may as well compare them to the plastic the chassis is made from.
id go as far as saying they are harder than mr01 or awd chassis material. so i gave them a rip on some full batteries on a real nice big flat clean cement and tarmac surfaces today and im a little underwhelmed. they are like driving on ice.
so off they go and the awd stock rubber comes back on to the new 4.5 degree kyosho knuckles. with bearings and some slight adgustments using the spacers ive set this beast up to perfection. the stroke limiting rings (tiny ones in the set) placed on the bottom of the front knuckles its dropped 1mm in the front, while the back i adjusted the spring tension with a pair of the larger rings in the set.
id really like to get a titanium center shaft next and add some more power using a neo mag so5. im a bit worried that ill snap the capacitors off it by bending it though…
thats wild, is it from a static kit you built from scratch or an autoscale? either way it looks awesome!

i managed to scrounge up an original ps1 for $10 last week, combined with original comand on conquer red alert and 2 tv sets and the other ps1 were gonna have some fun…

ken that rx-7 looks really nice on the AWD… kinda inspired me to patch up the one i have!

the other two wheel designs IMO are awefull one is an odd star pattern and the other is a round hole/trinangle combo…
indeed, i want ze mirror finish! but the tri spokes will have to do… packs of 2 right? ill need for of them in gunmetal thanks!
the site sure is cool enough, but some competitions would be a serious incentive for us to get our modding skills out again and also to get some more outside interest here…

also , regular smaller competions and a z of the week could be a great addition. no prize needed for the z of the week. maybe a prize for z of the year selected from the weekly selection…
but some more outsider interest could greatly help, along with some more tasty outsider sponsors!

no mylo (due to ilness), m.i.a didnt show up (teh hot shri lankan female artist ), mudvaynes set got messed up half way through due to sodden ground messing with electricals and iggy pop who i was looking forward to was scary as hell…

did an awesome job and has really been putting in the hard yards with thier collective force. musicly it reminded me of really early limp bizkit, korn without any of the high pitched twiddly bits.pity iggy just sounds like peter garret. weaker, drug-f@cked and just silly lyrics that would fit in 40 years ago just have no place here.
but i suppose if you like old rock music that goes on about america and cars and you like chunky riffs and decent drumming you might want to give it a listen.
if you are into scratching and rapping, edan is an artist to look out for in the future. propbably the most entertaining hour of music i heard there all day. check it out if your into hip hop, otherwise just steer clear of this one…
white stripes were a bit meh… i mean great 2 peice and all, great songs but really so easy to reproduce. rising stars that have come way too far waay too fast. i expect em to dissapear in the next 3-4 years. enjoy the cd. watch them live, notice how without a doubt they reproduce that same song from the cd live flawlessly. ponder the fact you could have heard it at home without having to be offended by stinky shirtless guys and a decent ale in hand rather than a warm tin.
i really hope a video will be released of these two… when they spin the short staves the electricity behaved in a most perculier fashion… it was being like a mad scientist watching that happen.

krew, i have one and a have a small patch of stuck pixels but i dont let them get in the way of my enjoyment…
i suggest you get a good high powered magnifying glass and inspect your dead “pixel”. you might find it is a block of more than one, the screen is very high definition compared to most lcd’s so you might still be covered…
so do they take batteries or does it attach to the motor terminal?
well thats better! i had to quickly change the default posts per page to 20… and now she looks fine!
but i nearly cried when i saw the odd style it was in before i changed it in my settings… might want to make it V.3 similar Aaron so that newcomers are not scared off by the alien set up!

ooo are they like the spacers for ground clearance in thinner widths than the 1mm thick ones that come with the ready set?
i allready switched the ones in the front so they are on the bottom of the knuckle to lower it a bit… but 2 of them dont give it enought travel for the springs to fit properly…
