judging by your questions you don’t really understand what you are asking.

stacking fets is a very inefficient way to gain performance. stacking fets on a turbo is a waste of good fets.

it looks good on paper, lower resistance. but in practice the fets don’t get turned on properly.

let’s say a fet islike the tap in your bath. it’s easy to think that adding another tap will make the bath fill twice as fast. but what happens is the taps don’t get turned on full. so the bath does fill quicker but it doesn’t get filled twice as fast.

a nelly/spider fet is like removing the stock tap and replacing it with a big tap that turns on full with only minimal turning. so the bath fills way fast and you barely have to use the handle.

that’s why external turbos like nelly and the spider are so good. both ph2t and aaron have taken a lot of time to research the ideal fet (tap) for the job. they are fets with not just low resistance but also a low rds on value (they get turned on more)

    i hope that makes sense!sovxx.gif8ball.gif

yeah, but put em on the ground. i’ll bet money the spider rig takes off faster than the stock one. and you can gear it higher tooxp1700.gif8ball.gif

actually i get about 10 – 15 packs from a set of tyres. i’m running kyosho 40deg up front and gandini foams on the rear. surprisingly the rubbers wear slightly faster than the foams, i can get around 4 more packs from the foams.8ball.gif

aawww, don’t give up that easily! rules are meant to be broken!xp1700.gif

when you buy a new mountain bike the manual clearly states: ‘not to be used for jumping, stunting or off road use. failure to observe these rules will void the warranty’big.gifAS IF!!!!!

so you can probably pump the lion’s into it, just remember the other important factors like current. try starting with a stock motor first and slowly work your way up until the fets get hot.8ball.gif

i think you’re a little mixed up. an external fet mod is way more powerful than an internal one. and the spider or nelly are the best products on the market. if you can order from rcmart then you can order from the ausmicro shop or ph2t.

as for ‘power input’ the gpm v2 is designed for 4 cells (4.8 – 6v). any more and there’s no guarantees8ball.gif

any of the tyre compunds will be good with the foams but i’d say medium – soft to be sure. make sure you get the zero offset rims, they fit the mclaren body perfectly8ball.gif

looks like the ‘literal avenger’ strikes again!approve.gif

if i was tobuy an rcpcp track that’s the size i’d want it. can you imagine how much that would cost! even the locally bought mats would cost a bit to cover that area.

and i don’t think i’m a good enough driver to be able to make it around a tight technical track so it’s gotta be big! ideally i’d like to see a true 1:28 scale track, something that takes more thana minute to get a lap in. now that would be interestingxp1700.gif8ball.gif

oooo, dat sounds nasty! there’s a great concrete street course/bowl right near me but i’ve been scared to take anything there. mainly because of those huge jumps followed by concrete landings. i spose i could avoid them but then there’s no point in turning up if i’m not gunna thrash it!dead.gif8ball.gif

it’s worth mentioning there are many variables.

the brand: gandini powerfoams are by far the best. period!worship.gifi’ve seen jamie tear a set of other brand foams in minutes. once, ph2t wore through a set of squat foams before the batts ran down! i’m not even gonna bother with the crap foams that came with my iwaver!big.gif

surface: personally i’ve been running my gandini’s on rough concrete, foams rear and rubber front. my foams last just as long as rubber tyres did. i estimate between 1 – 1 1/2 hours of solid hard racing. like ph2t said, on your surface they should go a long way.8ball.gif
