Tel: 03 9817 2550 :8ball:when me and ph2t used to do lotsa concrete racing i noticed the bottom edges of the chassis used to get scratched up. so i drilled 2 holes and poked some flints into them sticking downwards, hard fast corners would create a shower of sparks! :8ball:
zippo flints;) :8ball:
yes, you will still have brake and reverse. in fact they will be stronger:approve: :8ball:
i’m thinking we got a spambot, stay away from those sig links:smiley2: :8ball:
they look fantastic! i love a matt black muscle car and that’s no exception!:smiley16: :8ball:
yep! got a silver wrx from big w for $20. it was the last one on the shelf and i haven’t seen any more.
strangely mine comes with a white endbell motor. what i love is the tx is the size of a regular bcg car!:smiley14: :8ball:
it would be best to have the aerial extended, try to locate it and poke it outside the fuselage. you could then run it outside the boom. :8ball:
merry xmas gang, thanks for another years worth of quality micro rc gibberish! :8ball:
actually i think you guys might be right about the i series being an 015 without brake, sorry for any confusion i may have caused :8ball:
mini z i chassis has a usb link and software so you can customise the throttle curve, steering epa, etc much like a fancy computer tx does. :8ball:
there could be a tiny speck of dirt caught in the servo gears, you may have to pull it apart and clean the gears with a clean toothbrush. you’d be surprised how tiny that speck can be to foul up the servo! almost invisible :8ball:
dammit! won’t be able to finish work until 4 so i’ll have to give it a miss!
aah well, i know it’ll be a lotta fun all the same. i’ll be there in spirit:smiley16: :8ball:
surface is pretty good, i ran an xmod on it once.
usual scale is 1:18 – 1:8 but anything goes :8ball:
i’m sure there will be some. but until then picture a cycling velodrome with an rc car doing over 100kph around it:smiley15: :8ball:
awwright!! better make sure i can get off work early, an event not to be missed! :8ball:
coolness! finally nailed that sucker!
no more bouncy bouncy:D :8ball:
yer all bastards! he wants a great big, hairy chested, manly nitro truck! not one of your wussy girly “fits in my pocket” lektric toys! he wants something that will hurt when it rams into his leg, not bounce off! 😀
you’ll want to decide between a buggy or a monster truck.
buggies are more geared up for precision racing wheras monster trucks are funmobiles that can go more places.first, decide where you’ll be doing your shopping. then see what parts they mostly stock and go with that.
off the top of my head the hpi savage has proven itself as a solid performer and there is a plethora of spares and upgrades available almost anywhere. :8ball:@jollyboss 226336 wrote:
so I’m right also to about motor plugs
yep, same deal. if it runs backwards swap the wires or reverse the channel :8ball:
here ya go, i’ve labelled the v+ and v- in the attached pic. :8ball:
i’ve done the same sorta thing, transplanting iw boards where they don’t normally go.
i forget which is pos or neg when it comes to the servo motor/pot wires but trial and error is fine. if the servo is reversed swap both the motor and pot wires (or if your tx has a servo reverse switch…)
if the servo is trying to pull all the way to one side then just swap the servo motor wires.
the power switch goes on the pos battery lead, just be sure to choose a switch that will cope with the current. better yet ditch the switch. :8ball:
oh, we’re definately a stupid forum! but we let you post links:D :8ball:
we don’t have a problem with you posting links;) :8ball:

thunderdome eh, should try to drag the ph2tster along! reckon the track is smooth enough for a mini z? :8ball:
