the front knuckles are drilled out and a brass bushing pressed in, an axle fixed to the wheel goes in the knuckle bushing, and the soft flexy silicone insulation is the cv joint.

I did some drawings, but fitting it all in a BCG shell was daunting.

Same deal, you can use a 1/18 for anything you can use a mini monster for….

From what i’ve heard/seen, none of the mini Z cars are offroaders, not even the monster.

They, from what i’ve seen are plagued by durability issues, unsealed gearboxes etc.

If you want a great offroad “truck” type vehicle there are swarms of 1/18 scale trucks about such as The Duratrax Mini Quake.

i made “cv” joints using some silicone insulation wire from an X speed motor’s wire.

That worked fine in the prototype stages, but i lost interest alltogether in bits.

You will find the runtime goes sky high with a delta peak charger
expect more than 20 minutes continuous throttle from the stock tomy (aka sanyo cadnica) 50mAh cell.

These new I wavers look awesome, they are grrey chassis’s with blue or red plastic parts, look very trick indeed…

Mini T needs too much $$ to make it as good as the others.

For me its a toss up between the other 2….but bugger it, im getting an Associated RC10GT Truck.

did it sound like the gear mesh was too tight?

Man does it use sub c’s? If it does throw in a 6T single and a good ESC and watch it launch into orbit 🙂

I’d pay to see that.

yeah i read that, and it just pisses me off how people fall for the stupid no load RPM characteristics….

Looking at the power output (actual) and quoted power by I Waver, i couldnt help but want to strangle somebody.
