Site Owner Guy.What kind of screw mount? You mean the kind that needs the screw holes in the motor can? That’ll be PN Racing.
Or the ones that just clamp the motor?

Site Owner Guy.Update! After 10 months of runnign we’ve amassed USD44.xx
Not quite a fortune but not too bad I guess 😉

Site Owner Guy.At this stage there’s no risk to ausmicro.
Yup – it’s been a rising cloud for a while, and as such I’m takign the best option out for me in the ersonal and fiscal sense.
I don’t know if i could get into the whole share trading thing but it certainly means that I will have more time/energy to devote to the site!

Site Owner Guy.You could try one of the PN S05 motors, they’re well known for being very efficient and peopel have run their Hi-Po cousins in the AWDs with success as well.
I get close to 30 minutes of good fast running from PN or Intellect batteries.
Haven’t tried to the new PN Racing 800Mah yet though

Also Betty.k has started doing some pruning of old threads etc in the For Sale sections which will be impacting on everyones post counts.

Site Owner Guy.The iWaver alloys fit perfectly, run true and as far as I’m concerned are just as good as any other similar priced alloy wheel.
Like most of the recent iWaver alloy parts they’re great quality – strong and simple designs witha good finish.

Site Owner Guy.Nah – Lancia Delta Integrale is what they are… Very classis 1980s World Rally Car

Site Owner Guy.Got some new Bling on my AWD…
New iWaver Alloy wheels and the iWaver Battery heatsink/clip
PN Top covers from a few weeks back and that’s about it…

Site Owner Guy.The MX5 will be living in the garage with the Lynx. The XR6 is looking for a new home…

Site Owner Guy.betty.k wrote:ok, i can be serious.
we need more “getting to know you” stickies like a “members mugshot” thread.
and stuff like “how did you find us” or at the very least an “introductions” thread. (no, not matchmaking! but now i think about it…..:D )*nods* Since the revamp we’re very short on stickied stuff and it’s been lacking for quite some time. I certainly have no problem with it and I suspect it will take off once started…
betty.k wrote:a serious organise is needed too. we need all the good info stickied. this place is (used to be?) the number one technical help forum.
let’s drag back those golden threads from the maestro’s of micro gizmology like microamps, trash, ph2t, shypo, dave f, etc, etc.*nods* This is a huge job and not one I can do alone. I’ve got a lot of user and post cleaning still to do behind the scenes but that won’t affect the move to get soem of the great info searched back out and online.
If there’s any thread people think shoudl be stickied use the “report post/thread” function and in the comments say it’s good info 🙂
betty.k wrote:there were a lot of “firsts” in the micro world that originated here, let’s remind the world that we’re the number one (english language) techo forum on the scene:topstuff: :8ball:Agreed.

Site Owner Guy.Read the PDF File and learn:
* There’s a new iWaver 02 chassis coming called the 02M
* The PCB on it is different – they’re claiming they’re moving to 27Mhz FM for it.
* Better FETs on the board – about 80mOhm resistance
* There’s a 1/28th 4WD Buggy coming
* There’s a 4WD Monster comingBut read it and see for yourself 😉
Oh and new bodies, Mustang convertible, Mini CooperS join the GT40 and the SaleenS7

Site Owner Guy.Try that 😉
--
Site Owner Guy.Well I think either of those will be looking at the tailights of hte new Aaron & Kitty mobile… (see pic)
--
Site Owner Guy.Mate that’s an excellent job! Well done!
All you need is some wheels closer to the Delorean ones and voila!A.
--
Site Owner Guy.If you can land a pair at that price do it. It’s definately a fair price for a HK sourced pair.
Our costs in handling the transaction (paperwork, customs, merchant fees, Aus based shipping etc) just mean it’s not worth it without a working margin above the wholesale price.

Site Owner Guy.For the record we can source on demand for AUD290 at your door, little less for the 18T.
Just another option.

Site Owner Guy.Some pics:
Why the Kawada Diff rocks, note the massive difference in tyre size between the Kawada on the MR-02 and the 11mm wide rears on the AWD.
The AWD with the new PN alloy top covers.
The Gen1 Xmod. Bearings, AWD and a few bits and pieces – picked up used from a member.
MX5, still a work in progress.
