you’re gunna wet ya pants! :8ball:
i think ph2t explains the virtues of the external turbo over a stack in this thread.
it’s probably somewhere near the beginning:8ball:too kind fellas, too kind!:smiley9:
just don’t go expecting none o’ those bitpimps shenanegans over here!:D :8ball:
one thing i noticed in the aftermath is how clean everything is now!:D
roads and paths that are normally leaf and dirt strewn are now nice pristine tarmac and concrete again.i hope templestowe copped a blast:topstuff: :8ball:
nice work pimp!:smiley14:
i’m gonna ask on behalf of us all when i say…. shoot some vid!!!:D
i wanna see the bouncy bouncy!:8ball:i’d stay away from the rc18t, ph2t had one and the gears were magnets for dirt and stones!:dead: :8ball:
you don’t hear a lotta bad press about the mini t, seems like a dependable rc.
there are of course many other options in the class now, mini lst, half 8, rc18t, etc etc.
then there’s all the special editions, rc18b, half 8 st, etc:8ball::smiley9: thankew verymuch!
i promise to rule with an iron fist and crush those that stand before me:smiley15:
well not really, sounds too much like hard work:D
thanks to aaron and the team for the chance to remind the world that us aussies are the “germans of the english speaking world”!:topstuff:
cool!!:topstuff:
(ausmicro in no way condones speeding, even though it’s unreal fun and will help you pull many fully sick chicks. fully:smiley2: ):8ball:
wow, trash!!:smiley10: good to hear from you man!
in tribute here’s my most refered to ausmicro thread, about aerials:smiley2: :8ball:
http://www.ausmicro.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9478&highlight=aerial+lengthok, i can be serious.
we need more “getting to know you” stickies like a “members mugshot” thread.
and stuff like “how did you find us” or at the very least an “introductions” thread. (no, not matchmaking! but now i think about it…..:D )a serious organise is needed too. we need all the good info stickied. this place is (used to be?) the number one technical help forum.
let’s drag back those golden threads from the maestro’s of micro gizmology like microamps, trash, ph2t, shypo, dave f, etc, etc.there were a lot of “firsts” in the micro world that originated here, let’s remind the world that we’re the number one (english language) techo forum on the scene:topstuff: :8ball:
hows about a nude calender:D :8ball:
woah! now that’s tiny!:topstuff: :8ball:
icebreaka wrote:when the car hits the barrier, it gets caught up.. Hmm thinking of a workaroundtry masking tape, it’s slick enough.
contrary to popular belief garden hose is slick enough for you to ride the walls and still forgiving in a top speed head on:topstuff: :8ball:good choice but, dayum!! $28usd?? i’m sure they’re half that price on rcmart.
ph2t has one and it works well for him. just be sure to buy atomic brand spur gears when it comes time to replace them, other brands won’t fit.:8ball:February 12, 2006 at 9:27 am in reply to: Where I find some topic speaking on the reception and antennas of bit’s? #56616i find this thread contains the best aerial info:topstuff: :8ball:
http://www.ausmicro.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9478&highlight=aerial+lengthkyosho diffs are the best but awful expensive. ceramic balls are lighter and more durable than the metal type.
i break my diff down after around 15 – 20 packs.i got a 3racing diff, it was a bit sticky and scratchy. so i replaced the balls and plates with parts from an old mr01 diff (well broken in), she’s smooth as silk now:8ball:
from the shop:

yeah, iwavers can be kinda fragile.
but it’s not such a bad thing, it forces you to explore your car and understand how it ticks.
i wouldn’t know as much as i do if i’d just bought the good stuff first!the tx is still good though, i’d be lost without e.p.a and multiple model memory!
you can setup a brake using the iw tx but it means you lose reverse.
just set the epa adjustment for reverse so it’s only just engaged at full throw of the trigger. voila! poor man’s brake!:smiley8: :8ball:unfortunately the “abs” feature on the iwII tx is a load of hooey!:smiley13:
it never worked on either of the 2 i had, just grabbed once like you described.:8ball:hi there, welcome!:smiley10:
it might not be the answer you’re after but i’d suggest looking at the tiny micros like zip zaps, bit char g and other types of 1:64 rc’s.
they’re unlikely to break during normal (and even abnormal) useage.
they’re a whole lotta fun, it’s how most of us got into rc:topstuff: :8ball:so that’s why iwavers glitch in that spot!:D :8ball:
i think he slipped some sorta mind control chip into me via an iwaver once, anytime i have an evil thought i drop to the ground with river phoenix style convulsions:smiley11: :8ball:
the bdo has long since been sold by ken and viviene, they’re just employees now.
2 of the big acts pulled out at the last minute so they had to get henry rollins in.
this year looks so bad it’s the first year i’m not gonna work there!if you do go hang out with greg, christo and duckpond at the lilypad. there’s always something good on there.
if “the twits” do a set, be sure to get a front row seat to enjoy disapointment!:big: :8ball:and we have another conversion! praise da lord!!:D :8ball:
