    The reason it’s 100 turns is because it is probably designed to run off 12 volts. Those bronze/copper brushes are shocking things once they begin to deal with a bit of current.

    Yeah i was racing mine in the hallway at the resort im at. It had a doormat inbuilt into the tiles near the front door and it made it go all retarded.

    Same here GT-ahh, but now that i have it its great, maybe not as good as larger 1/10 cars, but it can be raced on much smaller tracks.

    Nah thats true. 1.0=10,000RPM 2.2=22,000RPM 2.6=26,000RPM 3.0=30,000RPM.

    You are probably thinking that it is impossible for a motor to do those speeds? Maybe a car engine, but small engines rev really high.

    Yeah thats just stupid, the radio gear in the mz is not the best in the world anyway.
    At the local model aircraft club some guys are using $3000+ Tx’s……..like whoa.

    My brother has a pistol Tx lying around, it’s nothing crash hot (airtronics 52.99USD) its 27 meg AM so i might nick it and see if its any better than the perfex.

    24 hours at about 5km/h, thats 120km, wonder if they would last the distance. Also can there be a back up motor, spare tyre set or anything?

    I dont use any oil in my car exept inside the motor. For the rest I use carbon/graphite powder.

    I still think it should be a 24 hour long race, just with a 1/64 LM circuit.

    I tried to make a charger using a voltage regulator stage (LM317) feeding into a constant current charger (LM317) but I couldnt get the thing to work. The idea was so it would charge the cell and sop and keep it topped up at the end of the charging cycle.

    I dont really like adding a switch to my bit, because it is convenient how it discharges the cell to eliminate memory effect.
