peedee: if you can dry brush well do it, i have and it looks great if done subtly. clear coat afterward to protect the art…

‘prezza: masking sux bad, so painting windows with acrylic silver or black after a nice enamel spray like you said is my prefered technique. but just as before give it a clear coat afterward for nice shiny looks.

another tip for sprayers: tamiya coloured transparent gloss’ are an awesome creator of realistic depth. a metalic purple with blue transparent (2 coats) gives the deepest bleu you ever seen. candy green metalic ala my echo (or whatever) with blue on top results in a real nice jade green.

soon to see what the metallic purple with a pink transparent will result in.

the clone does fall a couple of mm short (and in bit terms thats quite a lot). the shells are nice but sitting next to the tomy ones the flaws show through…

me thinks the perfection company have a scam system of getting all of tomy’s slightly faulty pressing equipment hence the extra flash ( excess plastic along mold lines) and off center logos e.t.c. unfortunatly perfection didn’t get any of the chassis molds as a true clone of tomy sbcg’s would have been nice for modding and parts. the rims are nice and shiny but the unclip feature of sbcg aint there.

performance wise it’s the best clone available, but it aint as good as the enzo, contach or porche.

keeping it on permanant boost tho. half speed sux.

micro: the sbcg’s definatly have a litle more grunt in the power department, for steering and drive which is extremely welcome.

got my enzo 2 days ago along with a murcilago and zero pullbacks. the high speed tune up kit for super bcg is great (contains a 3.0,two different gear sets, knuckles and suspension parts) and has everithing for you to change the performance straight away…

the enzo is not a booster. guess we’ll have to wait and see if the new lotus uses the funky extra buttons…

confirmed: the perfection sbcg’s are on the freq’s stated. i got an awesome tomy enzo (40a) and there is no interferance fom the clone (40c).

murcilago shell looks so good and the blue tip 3.5 running with 12:1 gears is a dream come true.

i found with afx springs you can wind multiple springs together even at different lenghths to increase performance.

i’ll give my secret supply for all the community to enjoy… the locksmith! they all have a stash of small springs in different strengths they pull out of locks, as each one useally containes at least 4 of the same type. and if they are nice will sell em to you for cheeeeep!!!

pic 4, the end.:smiley16: just remember, you want to wire the motors in parallel (ie connect all the + terminals together and the – terminals together, NOT end to end ; +-+-). if you do wire them in series the motors will just spin at half their normal speed:8ball:

half the speed, but any increase in power?
