hows this for weird, matrix revisited posters have been up for a month or so, it is released may 15th.

x-men 2 however, no ad’s, no posters, no hype.
nightcrawler and maybe gambit willbe joining logan on the screen on the 5th of may.

another thing, if you like my painting ideas but hate acrylic weakness just use a final clear enamel spray…

mdf sheets (6mm) are about $6.50
vinyl samples are free
pva glue $10
matt spray varnish $10 (surface)
black and silver spraypack $5
green felt.

my first track cost about $30 but i still have supplies to do 2 more boards

the a4 vinyl sheets i mesured up into 2cm strips and glued them streight onto the mdf. i had to support the strips using pva and 1cm squares of vinyl. easy to curve and once dry will give a few nasty suprises to any “railhuggers”.

ther is no room even with the pcb gone for interior detail XCEPT for a 4×4 like a Bb.

and then it would still look weird. if a human head were to be deformed to the same way a bcg car is it would resemble a hamburger more than a pinhead.

this is a amazing concept but at the moment the pcb and batt width limit the realistic room for internal detail.

if the pcb cover i made did look good i was thinking of getting it cast up in aluminum, the idea being like a heat sink.

a booster NEEDS at least: soft suspension
medium tires at the front
hard on the back
racing (high speed)gears
a 2.6 engine.

and while yor at it get a nice pullback shell to replace booster chassis clear skyline. mmm black supra….

some thing in side is shorting the curcuit. sounds like a direct connection is happening on the charger.

when you say it “screams” do you mean when you give a signal to scream or is it just going off?

the soft suspension bar works nearly just as good as afx springs.

the clones that DO NOT fit (knuckles) nanoracers/fitchar-g and race master tornado.

all of the micro springs i’ve everseen available are all the same stiffness, what determines the ride height is the length of the spring.

all afx springs are like what shypo is sayin’ nice and soft and only just hold the chassis up.

the standard tomy suspension set (red) works amazingly well in combination with the perfect length springs.

for stiffer suspension you can wind the springs around each other.

are you usisg a doctor/med scalpel shypo?

i used to get them of my mum for free but i’m glad i stopped. exacto blades are so more precise.

and stronger too. the shape of a round blade is just to hard to work with some times.

i had a go at internal detail like dave and shypo suggested. it sucks big time, the pcb is to high!!!

i cut and trimmed a pair of bucket seats for a convertable and made a hole in the pcb the same size. sunk it down as far as the curcuit and glued it (separate). looks crap tho..

sits way too high….

if you agle the motor slightly the white pinon fits. qfm’s website has details on the ‘engine balance mod’

dave the drift axle has groves side to side.

i did start with the same hardness and pattern tyres as the white kit tyres (black enertech) and then cut the ridges in.
