decent mesh can be obtained by cutting up a pasta strainer, hobby shops (train modelling fences) or hash pipe screens from a tobaconist.

a shell mod would be your best option. apart from shedding some weight it would also allow air flow.

a lot of my shells have been modded with holes in the front end, and if dust is an issue you could use mesh to make it safe (and look nice).

the skyline, supra and s2000 shells all have good locations for this mod. make sure you use a nice sharp blade to trim away at the inside of the shell and once almost through ‘ave a go at the front.

with the power your using you should also consider higher end gears to reduce stress on the motor, bit racer gears are pretty useless on a single cell bit but with the set up you have it would allow for some extreamly high end performance…

if you ask me the necrons are too boring to be fun. at first the powerfull army’s are atractive but they arn’t the thing a gamer needs.

sometimes they come back rule allows fallen necrons to simply get up again, which i find increadibly cheap winning tactic.

the small numbers of a space marine force or a craftworld eldar force are what i’m talkin’ about. no easy winning with one of those.

a challenging force to win with is a victory worth celebrating. the tau have some unique units, like the xv8 and xv88 battle suits, that have supurb movement skills. not to mention the rail gun that’ll shred any monalith any day, any where… hey peedee i thought you liked mech’s

your guess is right. DONT use real car spray paint. it is way to thick. and make sure you mask the windows and press real firm on the edges of the tape to stop piant messing up your windows.

good luck, and check the older threads about the topic……

every set up is personal, one of my favorites is high power gears, hard rear tires and med. ones in front. and a nice “pinky” motor to give it a bit of drift. suspension is highly recomended, especially if your running with stock which is pretty useless, the susp. set comes with a nice set of tomy med tyres too.

go all the way with spring suspension once you’ve got some experience, it is the ultimate if you get it right.
